[November Tests 2017 EOYT] England vs. Argentina (11/11/2017)

That try should be enforced viewing any time Ford's role in the side is questioned
Barnes caught imagining Farrell throwing that pass.

That's a bullplop card,
Eyes on the ball, gets one hand on the ball - he's been carded because Brown jumped higher.

Absolute BS

You could argue that the laws / interpretations are BS, but not the card itself IMO. To me the current laws / interpretations massively favour the player who gets in the air first, although it follows that that player is likely to be higher and in turn more likely to get flipped and land awkwardly.

Brown's injury illustrates the danger of contests in the air and possibly that current laws don't do enough to ensure players' safety, but unless you accept that it's going to be impossible to have a contest for the ball, I have no idea what the answer is.

Sky Sports commentary is so bad.
Like someone said in the BT Sports thread: You forget just how bad it is when you have a while away from it.
How is Barnes still employed? I've never heard of anyone who likes him, he's a laughing stock amongst fans and current/past players alike.

If it was a card or not. My point is the law on taking a player in the air. If he lands on his shoulder or head its a red. Back its a yellow.

Should have been nothing or a red right? Not saying deserved a red im saying if i card was given thats the law.

But both had hands on the ball unfortunate really. Blessing in disguise get to see Watson at FB ;)

I like Healey and Kay from BT sports.

But I prefer the sky presentation a lot more.

Replace Morris and Barnes with Kay and Healey and that would do me fine.

Also I really miss the old Rugby Club show compared to the wannabe top gear parish crap that is Rugby tonight which is like 90 mins too long that along with the Super rugby show was some straight to the point very clean rugby shows.

Does anyone have the rules on collisions in the air? Is it taking the player out in the air that's illegal or tackling in the air? Unless it's the first I have to agree with Olyy.
My understanding is that it is taking a player out in the air in this instance. I believe the "contest" in this instance was cynical.

Yes Brown jumped higher as he was clearly contesting for the ball whereas Tuculet appears to be jumping for the ball but he was clearly not contesting for possession. IE cynical play.

No. If it is consideted a fair challenge it does not matter how he lands.
Bofelli had eyes on the ball all the time and had a hand on the ball while they were both with the feet off the ground. If that is not a fair challenge i dont know what is (add the fact he was kinda blocked a sec before he was about to jump)
