[November Tests 2016 EOYT] Ireland vs. New Zealand (05/11/2016)

NZ should bite the bullet and give Nonu a call
Or even McAllister. Need some experience in the backs

We have.......

Tamanivalu, Fekitoa, Rieko Ioane, Lienert-Brown.......

Lienert-Brown has done ZERO wrong. And it was odd that he didn't play vs Ireland. So you have to assume it will be him and Fekitoa, this is assuming Crotty/Moala are both season ending... Do we have one of them play 12... Do we experiment with Damian McKenzie... Or Jordie Barrett... The latter is definitely not there. And I highly doubt he's even on the table, idk what Justin Marshall is thinking. I think they'd rather pull a Super Rugby playing 12 in..

Get faddes over there, formed a great partnership with Fekitoa in super rugby, you can't go past these partnerships already established

Full credit to Ireland, great to see a team actually come out and try and win

Well done Ireland but does this now mean every Lions thread will be full of people putting more Irish players than usual in the test side?

Is there a place for Barrett at 15 or is he doomed to be an impact sub?

Well, everyone on here two weeks ago thought he was the best 10, and perhaps best player in the world. Yes, I'm being dramatic... But no-one seemed to gauge my worry. I said that he was only as good as his top form, over the last however many games, and now twice, he's been missing. But is missing the word? No tactical kicking, back to kicking around 60% again? Can't be happening. But it's how he plays in BIG games. Super Rugby Final vs thr Highlanders - no show, Super Rugby Final vs Lions - I said he was rubbish, others didn't. Last game vs Aussie - rubbish. Today? How often did you hear his name, or see him run the ball and draw defenders against a rushing defence? Mm...

It depends on whether they keep up the form I'd imagine. If they beat us and then clean sweep the 6N then they'd be within their rights to argue that.

I've already added Stander, Sexton and Henshaw to mine. Although Stander's replacing Hendo so doesn't quite count.

Ireland team that beat the All Blacks vs the England team that beat the aussies, who wins?

I reckon England. Just. I also reckon if the Oz side that got beaten played the NZ side that played today there's a good chance Oz would win. I'm taking nothing away from Ireland, they were fantastic. But NZ were poor.

Well obviously it's early days this autumn and England are yet to play, but it would be one hell of a game. If both England and Ireland have a great autumn then they it could well come down to that match in the 6N's as to who wins.

Congratulations Ireland. Even 22 points down I thought the ABs would do it.

The crucial moment was as early as the 15th minute. Without the Moody sin binning I think we'd have been looking at a different outcome.

I'd like to think the Irish fans will be unleashing a good few verses of "I used to work in Chicago...." tonight.

Hard to say really isn't it? I mean England won 3 nil early in the year against us, but there were some very VERY close games in there, whilst the All Blacks just blitzed us and everyone else by huge margins in all 3 of the matches. Looking back on it, the England games were really competitive, but you couldn't say that for our matches against NZ - they were just a cut above. On that measure I feel like this win of Ireland's is a bigger deal

I'm still ****** over that fella with violin though. Schmidt sure must go now.
