New Zealand v Ireland (2nd Test) - 9 July 2022

Losing Savea is brutal, honestly would've been better faking a HIA for the tighthead and having uncontested scrums

Don't disagree with the card there but by that logic NZ should have had at least one more too.

Just woke up. Checked the score. Interesting. Lot of activity on the card front. Are Ireland playing well bar the Lowe knock-on?

So so jammy. They shouldn't be in this game

Most sides use a pick and go or a one out pass, NZ do a three man miss pass on every phase, ha

Ireland lucky not to see another yellow - went early on both taps

Hmm. I'd say no, they're not playing well.

Ireland not awful and doing a lot right but also getting too narrow and panicking/making poor decisions at key moments, even in attack. It's why the score is so close in spite of the card disparity.

We've been so poor since NZ got their first card. Should be 17-0 up.

By far the better than though.

NZ hold out through 3 cards.

Ire get a yellow, NZ score.

NZ still have a whole half to go with 14, but Ire really need to get their heads together.

A tough half of officiating , but I like Peyper , he is so consistently pro the attacking team you at least know what you'll get. As he said to Cane "I'm not going away".

NH needs to step the heck up and put a game to bed. The 4 RC nations all have deep, deep flaws at this moment and are eminently beatable. I actually hoped for the ABs to get nilled to make the pressure on Foster unbearable.

Commentary is awful, Irelands discipline (when not in possession) is terrible, saving grace is it's not foul play so not getting too heavily penalised on the card front, NZ are really never beaten could be one of those freak games where the team is actually better with only 14, although I suspect Ireland will have to much around 69 it will tell.
