Chouly (first cap against the Abs June 2009, but I am not 100% sure)[/b]

i think Chouly toured with France in June 2007 or 2008 and had his first two caps then.

Yeah true, and if we're splitting hairs, Ouedraogo made his debut in NZ in 2007, not '08.

ahahah... very funny... <_<

No idea what this is but I'm guessing it's in the same vein as that cheese eating surrender monkey thing aint it? Could someone explain what the **** is Allo Allo?[/b][/quote]

Allo Allo is how French people say hello. Don't you know anything? Jeez.

Prepare yourself for this bizarre cultural exchange ...

It's the most laboured comedy of all time - full of double entendres. The English looooooved it in the 1980s. Actually the English agent dressed as a gendarme speaking bad french in english is brilliant. If you know what I mean.

The clip attached is from a 2007 retrospective live show. The original series from the late 80's, early 90's, was significantly better. Still the odd little laugh I suppose.

Like I'll be having if the French don't smack our backsides again.

whatever say French have something special matches against All Blacks

They manage to spoil New Zealanders everytime these teams face off

French lost match for third place on RWC 2007 against Argentina unexpectedly but they managed to drive ABs out of RWC before

Not every time LeksoRugby. Just every now and again, particularly in big matches. :)

Just like the English with whom we are even most of the times (last 6N, wtf????), who always beat us in big matches.
Love British humour, really do, Monty Python being my all times favorites :

Yeah, it was actually pretty good.

And whats with this "English loooooved it" crap? The BBC do broadcast in more than one part of the UK (even if they do have a London bias) and considering the comedy genius they've put out in the last 50 years from Hancocks half-hour to The Office I think they're entitled to an average comedy once in a while.

Lets cut out the xenophobic crap and stick to the matter at hand, i.e. New Zealand vs France, eh?

Cut the, lol, xenophobic crap, heh heh, from, hahahahahahaaaaa....Prestwick? Best gag ever!!!!

Still good point. Even though the banter in this thread hasn't really gotten bitter. I think elgringoborracho and I have along with Enqualez (or however ya spell it), largely established that we are just kidding each other.

Anyhow, I personally think we lost the game through a seriously good effort from the french in broken play. They turned scrappy loose ball and errors from the All Blacks into some good attacking opportunities and when it came to a mistake rate, they left most of those to the All Blacks. I wouldn't go so far as to say clinical, but compared to the AB's thats exactly what it was.

Guyzz please do not think I am too full of sarcasm and evil but ;) ;) ;) ;)

Isn't it main to win the big matches than small ones? :p :p :p

I think its better to lose small matches than big ones

Well, I grant you that. Some of it. Fawlty Towers. Last series of Blackadder. All of The Office. And the "frog on the electric fire" scene from whatsitsname ... Local shop for local people. You know the one.

But they're up against the Yanks, who are light years ahead in comedy. Which brings us back to the All Blacks ... biggest jokers on the planet.

All Blacks might be the biggest jokers on the planet, but the jokes been at the expense of the Irish ever having a win against them.

After BOD does SA with the Lions, that's the next thing on his list to tick off.

Makes me laugh when the Irish can call American comedy superior to anything form the UK. Especially when the only decent programme they ever made was Father Ted - Then that was even commissioned and funded by Channel 44!
