We shall completely overwhelm the Scots with the sheer power of our arrogance, England by 50.
Only 50 old boyWe shall completely overwhelm the Scots with the sheer power of our arrogance, England by 50.
Just say Scotland by 40I'm making no predictions so I can't be quoted showing my arrogance.
Completely forgot about this thread.
Scotland will probably do better than last year IMO, mind they couldn't do much worse.
If Scotland don't sort their fly half problem, they'll never compete with us or Ireland. Russell not good enough.
You have to question him when Laidlaw has to take over at 10.I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks this ! Maybe not good enough isn't the right word because he looks unplayable at times but I'd say hes the most fragile player in international rugby . If things don't go his way (like they didn't vs Wales) he may aswell not be on the field . Not someone I rate very highly I'm afraid

Russell has hit some bad form, with Lopez injured he'd be my backup 10 in a six nations "dream team" if we're to consider Farrell a 12. I hope he plays well Saturday, it's a joy to watch and it's needed to make a game of this.
Well he's due a good game.
Trouble is playing behind an underpowered pack of forwards is always going to hinder any 10. His only hope is England's lack of a world class jackal to slow down and turning over the Scottish ball. Mako is probably England's best in this area and could well be enough but I feel Scotland will kick off thinking they can secure a lot of quick ball. What the players think that Russell will do with it is another matter.
I assume Simmonds is injured? I'm surprised they have kept Lawes at flanker, I just don't think he's test match quality there.
