Munster v Saints

not the best Poite, no way should he have gone back for that scrum, tough **** if it's a crap kick.

This is turgid stuff; kicking and scrummaging is the order of the day so far.

Yeah, been alot of pointless kicking in the match,
6 - 3 going into half time, neither team looking like scoring tries (apart from possibly Saints when ashton slipped into touch, then held onto the ball for ages for ne reason)

trying to be a smart f***er by goading Quinlan into a reaction, Quinny wasn't born yesterday though.

Stopped the quick throw as well,
Crappy thing to do either way

Saints are destroying the Munster scrum. Hayes looks a spent force.

Should be 6-6 shortly.

Is it me or has Geraghty been outstandingly ****?[/b]
His kicking from hand hasn't been great, but i thought he's been playing well apart from that, breaking the line several times, always hitting the ball at pace, took the high ball well a few minutes ago

Saints are blowing this. Two stupid kicks when attacking in the 22 and a 5mt scrum lost against the head in the last 5 minutes

Munster's win puts Leinster through as, at worst, a best runner up.

Whoa, Munster were lucky. Just about got parity at the breakdown, destroyed in the scrum and Fogs was killing the lineout. Good result cosidering how bad we played. Backs were redundant attacking wise, just made tackles and chased kicks all day.

Nice run by Buckley at the end. its a pity he's soo crap in the scrum

How Munster keep winning games on performance like that I'll never know, but one things's for sure they'll be lucky to make it out of the Quarters if they don't sort out their Scrum, and now that Du Preez is gone that's doesn't look too likely. It was du Preez who saved Munster today in that epic couple of mins when POC was binned IMO. He stood his ground and hooked the ball back, what a way to end is stay, I wouldn't be surprised if we see him at Munster in the future after reading his interview on Munster's website. What was really worrying though was Hayes, he honestly looked past it tonight and with the Six Nations just around the corner Ireland have a massive handicap for teams to exploit.

Essence of Munster: get killed in the scrum for 80 mins, but win the only scrum that matters - against the head with seven men on their own line.

Still trying to figure out POC's complaint to the ref: "Number three is scrumming against my head and I'm on the right side of the scrum". Most severe boring-in of all time, but he's talking about the tighthead. Did you see his face in the sinbin when he was cycling the bike? Pure thunder!

Geraghty was good, but too many mistakes. Lawes anonymous. Foden-Ashton came close a few times, but overall the kicks behind the defence were very poor.

TOL's three blunders from base of ruck in the 3rd Q were unforgivable.

I think all Saints fans will be happy to accept that ROG did the biz. No? I am shocked. Shocked!

Overall Munster lucky to win... got desroyed in almost every scrum except when we needed it most...O'leary did well to stop saints getting quick clean ball off their scrums... our lineouts were poor enough by our standards not helped by foggs wayward throwing... ref clueless... Munster pretty poor in attack and had no strong set pieces to work moves off of... very good defence when needed...plenty to work on before quarters... ROG played well...Quinlan legend... Tony Buckley animal...

Munster were pretty lucky to win. Saints could have won it if they didn't kick the ball away too much.
