use the r3 to keep the ball :D try that
Require much practice? Should I try it for a couple of easy games on Pro just to get the knack?

Hmmm, I'm not the only one learning here...

showing us how the hell he keeps 70% of the ball[/b]

No gimmicks there, just plain old good...

......at ass-grabbing.

I'm only trying to learn tactics that you already know. :p

na doesnt take much practice if you played 05, also keep it in your forwards and only go wide when you see a gap, if the full back is coming accross wait for support or risk losing the ball :D

Thanks Woosah. Wasn't something I tried last year. I could find it handy this year though.

Now now! Even Gay-Guy is modest about his obvious skills.
Haha just living it up, been a long time in the shadows of a couple of certain people...

don't worry, I'll be caught up with pretty darn soon as form is temporary, class is forever.

Your Sharks will be playing my Highlanders after two other games in our Prem comp. I'll have to play it after this weekend, I'll be in Auckland then.

If I had any time to myself up there I'd really like to play Gay-Guy in a test series. Although what would I do? Bring him a handkerchief or a box of tissues?

Just kiddin, GG. :p

Seriously PM GG, he'd love a new fish. You could cut a few hours out of sleeping time to get it in (sounding dodgy? ...nah)

Enjoy, no doubt we'll get descriptions from either party, looking forward to the outcome :)

Hahaha....yeah would love to play......the early days of a new sports ***le is always exciting because no one is the "master"....everyone is still learning. Anyone who claims they are the master less than a year after a sports ***le release ghas no idea at all.......

If I played an International I would be using my new team....France. The rules for our world cup comps are that we have rankings after the previous tournament and the lowest ranked gets first choice while the qwinner of the last World Cup gets last choice........so everyone has to be proficient in at least 3 teams........my teams are S.A, France and Wales as i have a better chance of securing them as no one chooses France or Wales.

With France I have just turned them into a VERY good team by searching the whole country for talent based on ability rather than reputation....for instance I have dropped the default props and hooker that start.....dropped one of the locks......dropped two loosies.....dropped Michalek.....dropped both centres........brought Dominic into the squad (sentimental reasons).........got a new fullback and a new winger on the other side.

A lot of the reserves are new Internationals too.

What I have now is a fantastically strong team......though I have only tested it against one of the boys.....and the result showed a lot of promise.

Tonight I will search the Welsh Valleys for players to put into the Welsh team....I have moved thomas into the centres and I may drop Henson!

Henson has a huge boot on him, like Carter.

Gay guy, have you encountered the French bug yet? The bug is France injure 5-8 players they are playing against.

Yep....sure have.....but my mates don't know that yet lol!

Secretly.....that is another reason why I have chosen France :bravo:

Last night I injured O Driscoll.....my mate was down the tubes after that......BOD is definitely the best player in the game and there is no one in France who can catch him once he is away..........so it was all over once BOD went to the sheds

For Iverson and co................if they want to know the exact dynamics of rucking and perhaps some suggestions for their rucking system to counter dobrien then I can post it in the tips thread........if they want...

I for one would actually like that Gay Guy, as there isn't anything special I do, just get my players in there as quickly as possible then spread it... so would be interested in anything you have to add :)

Henson is too slow as a runner for my liking.....still contemplating whether to drop him or keep him.....sometimes he makes a break but he is too slow against other International midfield backs.

In real life (this is probably more for Northern Hemisphere people), is Gavin Henson actually any good? As haven't seen anything to prove it yet...
