Lions: Return to Oz

Yeah its easy, you just have to say the Cian Healy or Ferris are not the greatest players in the world and he gets the hump!

woAH lets not add ferris to BG8 biased list fact of the matter is many people rate him as world class

while only a few like bg8 rate healy as world class

Now I understand why you said Ferris is better than Croft and it's not for my imaginary list.

Have I ever called Cian Healy world class? No. People need to get their heads out of their asses and actually read what I've said and realise I've never even said he's better than Jenkins.

Thought you were ignoring me?

Ginger chill out mate, you really need to stop taking things so seriously. Hope you dont get wound up like this on the pitch

never mentioned mr jenkins
its pretty obvious that many people disagree with how high you rate healy that is all
personally i think he is in with a great shout of going on tour

That's why I said people was more for others to see you just happened to be the last to post about. The reason many rate Healy differently to me is that they still see himas he was in 09/10 and not how he is now which is actually pretty damn good.

Just a note....croft seemed to injury himself trying to do the job of a 6 on a 5m scrum! He should have stayed on the wing rather than trying and failing to tackle the power runner Nick Easter lol

One thing a blind side must be able to do is stop a no.8 from a 5m scrum, poor show from croft, i think ferris wold have nailed N. Easter

But if he a better 6 than Lydiate/Ferris?
He showed in the Six Nations he's as good an 8 as any other in the Six Nations, so I'd have no qualms about him playing there - could be between him and O'Brien, with their versatility.

Recent scientific research has found that he's up there and that further research is needed.

Aye, he had a good game on the weekend.

The Sky commentators mentioned it as well, but it's going to be ridiculous trying to pick a back row/which backrowers to tour with the Lions.

I'm watching the first test of the 2001 tour now. Great try by Robinson.
I'm actually watching it for the first time, I only know that the series ended 2-1 for Australia. I know you are all a bit jealous.

Edit: it's a pretty good game actually...

And Dafydd James is over! 12-3 to the Lions!

edit: And now is BOD is over. I had seen that one, though.

James was very good in that era. Henry liked his big wingers, I think Gatland would have liked James as well.

Didn't really do that much after that tour though (apart from featuring in the Scarlets Heineken Cup run in 2006/07), seemed to dramatically lose a lot of pace towards the last few years of his career.

Two tries and the Wallabies are back in the game!
Burke's two missed conversions may prove costly... 29-13 with ten minutes to go.
