Surprised Heaslip hasn't been mentioned, a sight better than the current options on either of his Lion's tours.

Probably have Jenkins, Heaslip and BOD as my three.
Heaslip is not better than Faletau might be the reason.Surprised Heaslip hasn't been mentioned, a sight better than the current options on either of his Lion's tours.
Heaslip was a good player but not in Faletaus class, is coming back from injury and getting better with each game.Prime Heaslip was definitely better than current day Faletau

Not much to add to what's been said but even Gatland picked Heaslip over Faletau in 2/3 opportunities and he wasn't keen on picking Irish players over Welsh. Definitely a disservice to Heaslip to say he wasn't in Faletau's class.Heaslip was a good player but not in Faletaus class, is coming back from injury and getting better with each game.
So a fun question
The Lions satrting XV that day had
Rob Kearney
Tommy Bowe
BOD
Jamie Roberts
Luke Fitzgerald
Stephen Jones
Mike Phillips
Jamie Heaslip
David Wallace
Tom Croft
Paul O'Connell
Simon Shaw
Adam Jones
Matthew Rees
Gethin Jenkins
Bench
Ross Ford
Andrew Sheridan
AW Jones
Martyn Williams
Harry Ellis
Ronan the Destroyer
Shane Williams
Out of that team, if you could pick 3 players to take on tour this year, who would it be?
The real question is did Murray ever pay up?
Zebo having to phone and ask to be Munster captain is one of the GOAT behind-the-scenes scenesliving with the lions is such a good documentary.
It's a shame more teams in rugby don't try something like that.
I love Paulie, but have to say I quite like the second row options, so I'd probably agree with Leinster fan. BOD at 13 with Henshaw = SpunkAll teams would be better with BOD in, but our needs are greater in other positions so it's Jenkins, POC and Philips.
I'm really hoping CVC get a drive to survive type thing going in the 6n.living with the lions is such a good documentary.

Apparently Amazon are really keen to make a behind the scenes Rugby series (they were in talks with a few premiership clubs before COVID ruined the season)I'm really hoping CVC get a drive to survive type thing going in the 6n.
A TRF team maybe?Lads I reckon we just confuse the F out of them and send a pub team on tour.
Everyone would think I'm even more of a diva.A TRF team maybe?
