June International Test: South Africa vs. Ireland [3rd Test] (25/06/2016)

Ball reaches the back of the scrum just play it ref!

I asked for evidence and you provided none. Facts > opinions.

Evidence of what? You asked for nothing off me and only facts I have are laws.
Le Roux made a hit on TOH in air and he landed on neck/shoulder. Law states that a red. Any interference in air comes under tackle laws

Surely people have to question Schmidts ability under pressure..

Got my money on South Africa this half, just don't think the Irish bench has the quality to win this.

What part of the law states that? He had his eyes on the ball, was on the air and his hands were aiming at the ball?

Don't have law book on me but it there. I sure you can find it on World Rugby. It was big issue when Payne was red carded. I'd ask more along lines of
If TOH was stretchered off would outcome be same?
Yes Le Roux went for ball but he didn't win it and has duty for player he tackles. Did he protect player? No. Le Roux was never near ball and I'd argue again this was worst than Standers and only difference here for sanction was TOH wasn't carted off

I know it is difficult but answered ages ago......

That WAS the situation but now each player has to consider his actions and the effect it may have on another!

The Stander incident and the one with Hogg come to mind but both "Penalty" Skelton and Willie LR had no realistic chance of getting the ball with their one hand and both should have been red - Skelton was not even carded for that (or a swinging arm later)!!

Well that a bit unfair here considering all disruptions of injuries I'd say he has achieved on this tour

Need to stop with the excuses, you were in a winning position last week, this SA team is on the rebuild and is quite honestly aawful. Need to take your chances by the balls for once in your rugby history and do something.

Ah we're three points down in a 1-1 series in South Africa without our best player. There are mitigating factors here, but I agree they're here for the taking, and we can win.
