Pity England aren't playing New Zealand end of the year. That would've been one heck of a match.

They're not trying to play it as a test match. Theyre trying to play super rugby. Against other sides, it would be enough but at test level defences are obviously better. The conditions also favour a slower game. You need to take your multiples of three when you start to recognise how high the unenforced error count is. The problem with Australia today has been a mentality issue as well as the backline functioning

Agreed, I understand why they didn't take the last 3, because England were on a final warning, but prior to that with plenty of time on the clock they shoulve have taken the easy 3, terrible stuff and more evidence Cheika is arrogant and overrated.

Different kettle of fish is the All Blacks. All Blacks got a habit of beating hyped up teams. Actually they got a habit of beating everyone.

Sorry England is no hype job though. They can play SH style now and that's the difference.

Great game England. Convincing!

I'm at loss for words as to just how stupid and error prone this Australia team is - but I think I'll stop being analytical for a bit and just enjoy the moment now.

Grandslam and a series win in Aus!

and also A Team series win in SA!

What a bloody year!

We would win, we have far more imagination than that pitiful Australian backline, England defended really well, but Aussie were just rubbish on attack, AB's are far more lethal.

I've been a huge critic of Robshaw and Haskell and didn't think they would cut it in Australia as deemed them too slow on the hard grounds and didn't think they would take England to the next level. Glad they proved me wrong, they were massive in this game.

I didn't get Australia not taking three points when only 6 points behind and 20 odd minutes still left. They had plenty of time to get the try.

Massive congratulations to England. Over the two games, they've been very very strong. There's a belief in the team that hasn't been there for a long time.

I feel England forced Australia into errors today with their intensity in defence. The breakdown is something that England haven't had dominance in over Australia for a while. Itoje and Haskell just on another level.

Beale was sorely missed this game for Aussie, he's no world beater, but he provides some flair in attack and originality/unpredictabilty, not the same old predictable stuff, could've opened England up

Too right, both of them were world class this game. Incredible work rate from both. Kvesic who?

I dont even think we need to mention it but we beat a better australian side than this by a fair margin in the WC final. I reckon we are atleast 3 tries clear of them still.
