Xmas shopping is going well for me.
I recently bought a really nice blazer for myself, some new strings for my guitar (which i'll slowloy change over the period of the next few months), a new pair of rolerblades and a new Laptop (hence the reason i can use TRF again).

So no one is christmas shopping for anyone but themselves?

Luckily, our toaster died recently, so I can get away with buying a new one for my parents (luckily, we don't spend too much for christmas here).
My brother will be a problem, boyfriend will be half a problem. But I decided not to stress about it. Some great idea will come to me. And then I'll forget if I don't write it down instantly.

Stepped into a shop that has building supplies and such (was buying the lazy man's wrench), and they had really weird Christmas songs playing. First store I hear playing a christmas store, is also the store where I saw Decembers first Builders Bottom. WRONG combo!

I'm sure most people would be...for example I need aroudn four presents for family, I have two sorted but awaiting divine inspiration to strike me for the remaining two...

Make sure to send divine inspiration my way as soon as you're done with it Brodizzle.

I like having a close-knit family at Xmas. Means presents are 1) very easy and 2) usually bought via a list someone has wirtten of things they might be interested in.

Xmas is all about the food and togetherness for my family, presents are just a fun bonus. And we're not Christian, so we don't feel obliged to abide by anything religious. We basically celebrate how we want to. I've always preferred it that way.

I prefer surprising people with something they like, although I can understand how using a list would be easier. It can be damn annoying though, like a friend of mine who knows ten days before her birthday exactly what she will be getting, because she gave a list to her mum, knowing her mum will pass the word on to us.

I don't know why, but we never really celebrate Christmas. More Christmas Eve.

DVD's are the answer for Mite imo. [/b]

Oh **** yes maybe a porno that both of you will like.In all seriousness its christmas time and they are throwing out DVD's for cheap.

Book or CD's are good for christmas.

All of the above can be cheap and most important of all easy to wrap i hate wrapping presents whoever invented this tradition needs to be beaten severly. :ranting:

That sounds wonderful the way christmas should be.

The all time cliché:

Better than the Mariah Carey version (and out of one of the best Christmas films:)
<object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/Pikz3DMhu54&rel=1"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/Pikz3DMhu54&rel=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>

And one of the all time best christmas songs, out of that other great christmas film (I know Crosby usually sings this one on his own, but I really like that film):
<object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/7fWoYzodwiU&rel=1"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/7fWoYzodwiU&rel=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>

Not all the ones I like best, but a selection.

Time creeps up on us all. My shopping isn't going so well, I havn't got anything yet. Too many choices, I wish a could just buy my wife some footy gear, that would make it allot easier. Jewellery is the way i will go i think. The thing that annoys me is you spend all that money on the presents, then a couple of weeks later you see it for way cheaper in the post christmas sales!!! Oh well, such is life.

I like the idea of a SFW Christmas. In fact, it's like mine word for word, although we don't use lists. It is a very close knit family affair. Be even better this year as a new arrival is imminent.
