Italian Rugby

Well, you know it isn't so easy to be the one who always lose, you always get bashed

Scotty, i can't do it..I'm using my iPad and I can't figure out how to put the flag from the TRF app!
I'm a passionate/mad rugby fan, I didn't join the forum before only because I didn't know about its existence.. But now that I'm aware of it, I love reading threads and posting comments :)

In the sad situation of I Cavalieri Prato, the coach has already gone away. This is a story we all know how it will develop! I'm not even sure Prato will finish the season!
What hilarious is, is they have defrosted retired players such as Denis Dallan (who last played 4 years ago, but hasn't played so far this season) or former Tigers prop and Italian international Alejandro Moreno, who is.... 41 years old!!! That's crazy! Now that the coach is gone, Moreno will take the lead of the team, being a player/coach!
They started preseason in late, they didn't play any friendly match and in The first games of the regular season they averaged 50ish points losses..and the worse still has to come in my opinion..

L'Aquila had some problems too but signed some foreigner players,Viadana had problems too but solved them and kept all players, however I have the feeling that Prato will retire from the league

Here I am, nice to join the italian group :D
Thanks Scotty for taking me here!

@ImScotty Actually I support Zebre but I feel sympathy for Treviso too...but the truth is that I would like to see any Milan team at top level, just like the Dominguez-era

Unfortunately there is nobody available to invest money in rugby in Milan, which is not a strong tradition area for rugby, and that's why today's ASR Milano is floating between semipro leagues...

I can say Calvisano, because of geographical reasons (and Paul Griffen :D) and Mogliano for their young players politics.
Anyway, I am not an hardcore fan, even because it's very hard to follow Eccellenza on tv!

Anyway it's true what my italian fellows wrote before about italians hanging out on rugby forums.
I write a lot on the italian forum www.rugby.it and I am noticing a huge loss of active users in the last years. I think that the last RWC has been the death stroke to many italian supporters, we had really high expectations and we have been kicked off at first round, as usual.
If you add this to many Federation's choices that seem to get along with the old losing habits that's what you get...

Now I remember where I saw you Rugby.it, I wasn't registered on that forum but I read it very often, but since it became full of spambots and registrations were closed the forum completely died

Now, since a lot of months ago, rugby.it is spambot-free and registrations are open :)

I didn't know it,I don't visit that forum since 6 months or a year

Let's go guys, we won!! Miracle happens sometimes.. We must keep up the form and beat the Pumas next week..

i can actually see Italy getting a shocker against Argentina if they play the same way they did against Samoa
