Well I don't want to sound like I'm sticking up for a NZ referee (because IMO, Bryce Lawrence is second to worst ref on the iRB panel), but I didn't see him do much wrong today.

Specifically, what decisions did he make that you thought were clangers. What makes you say he was "******* awful"?

Would love Manu and Twelvetrees in centre for a warm up but for WC I think we need 1 experienced centre. I'd like Flutey and Manu with Tindall and Twelvetrees back up.

Would defiantly like to see Haskell tried at 8 in a warm up game. I don't think we will see Robshaw start for England until after the World Cup. But realistically see your line up tried in the warm ups with Moody at 7 back as captain.

Great match. England were strangled. Earls was brilliant all 6N.

England were the best team over the 6N and should celebrate a 6N victory.

That ref was ******* abismal - the only way irish won because they were enabled to constantly high tackle, not roll away, stand up in scrums 3/4 times in a row with no consequence and go offside and in at the side at the rucks. And the ref gave an ridiculous yellow card to England :0 I;d be fine if the Irish won on the back of playing well or because England played badly, it's just so disappointing and embarassing for rugby in general. Irish should be ashamed at that win and that ref should be taken outside and shot.

I suppose from an England point of view it exemplifies the need for a GOOD centre partnership and some proper experience - Wilko should have really started today because that backline looked completely lost. Hape should be taken outside and shot as well, he cannot cannot cannot be in the world cup squad.

Sure, the sir missed some calls, but let's be honest. England didn't come to play today. Ireland came determined to win at home and they stuck to some sort of gameplan that I'm not sure Declan Kidney is responsible for.

Yeh, Ireland did win fair and square, but the ref was on par with a bucket of dog ****.

EDIT: I lost count of how many times Ireland high tackled, and the one time England did, there was a penalty. I guess this shows how usefull a home crowd can be.

We lost this battle but there is a chance we could still win the war (I'm half Welsh, but will be cheering on France in a few mins, shameful, but England really deserve to win the championship) I suppose Wales winning by 1 would be good...

Why does everyone up their game for us? Are England allowed to have an old enemy? Everyone else has an old enemy (England) So why can't we? I nominate Ireland, they always beat us
