Heineken Cup Semi-Final Draws

Hartley, Lawes, Fode, Ashton, Ansbro. Then Dowson, Geraghty, Dickson and some others through the various "2nds" nationals and extended EPS.

But I'm saying for 6 nations in 22 Bullit like Lawes is out but he'd make it 4. I wouldn't worry to much about A guys although Dowson would be in my 22 for main squad.

Ross, Healy, Cullen, Jennings, O'Brien, Heaslip, Reddan, Sexton, D'arce, Drico, Shaggy, Lukey F, Fergus, Hinesy, Boss, Ruddock, O'Malley. Yeah *****ez.

You worry about what you want, half the key squad will be missing for us lot throughout the [strike]same old money spinner[/strike] Six Nations. Whether or not that's for the full test matches or the pointless Saxons fixtures is besides the point. Plus Ansbro will be getting splinters up his arse for the Sweaties.

Did you just say a bad word about the 6 nations? Heretic!

Bullitt, its the same for everyone. Worse for some (Leinster will pretty much provide a full team to Ireland).

Plus I think you'll be sending off less internationals than most teams. I think even Ulster are sending off more guys than you.

edit: Still a worry though.

The outright odds, if anyone's interested, which they shouldn't be:

Leinster 2/1
Northampton 3/1
Leicester 7/1
Toulouse 7/1
Toulon 12/1
Biarritz 12/1
Ulster 33/1

I'd have Northampton ahead of us at the moment and Biarritz ahead of Toulouse. Thataside, pretty accurate.

Toulon haven't got it away from home and reality is they are for the taken away from home.

Pretty much worst case scenario for Leinster... Let's hope we don't see a repeat of the 2005 quarter final. That was a depressing day!

Worst case scenario is to be drawn away to Toulouse! Ye have the chance to knock out 2 of the HEC contenders. Its better than playing them in a neutral venue.

Yeah ok but we weren't going to be drawn away to toulouse because we topped our group. So I stand firmly by what I said

I'd rather have Leicester in the Aviva than in Cardiff. To win the cup we were going to have to play either them or Toulouse at some point. It's not ideal I know, but better on our home turf than in a final, if we should reach it.

I'd rather a weaker team in the quarters to ease Leinster back into their Heineken Cup form. It'll be difficult for them to retain that form from the pool stages after 2 and a half months.

I think the winner of the Leinster vs Leicester QF will win the tournament overall.

Are the Tigers not in the same position? It's great that were at home as hopefully that can boost us into playing the way we want to. Leicester are a tough challenge but I still think its in Leinsters hands. It all depends on injuries and how we adapt to the game.

Just wondering, should Ulster make it to the semis, where would they play their match? Due to the cup's regulations, Ravenhill is not an option. Is a move to Windsor, Casement or Healy Park an option? I suspect they will not move it to another country (the Republic or Scotland for instance).
