From the tournament that is far too competitive for a Grand Slam - Pro 14 - R.18

And it's all over. Connacht are up there with noughties Ireland or the recent Scotland team for finding new, interesting and inventive ways to lose games. Entertaining match though if admittedly not of the highest quality.

Elliot Dee with a very cheeky try there. Put Dragons back in striking distance! Might do Cardiff and Connacht a favour. They could equally let Cheetahs have a winning BP as well though haha.

EDIT: and there we are haha.

Dragons are so infuriating to watch. They looked decent for large parts of that game, but so many basic errors just cost them any chance of winning!

Not looking good for Ulster. They need 1 or 2 points more than Treviso in their last 4 games away to Edinburgh and Munster and home to Ospreys and Glasgow to get that Euro playoff spot unless something big happens in this 2nd half. Meanwhile Treviso scraped a win in South Africa and have home fixtures v Zebra and Dragons on the run in.

I'd love Treviso to qualify for Europe for the sake of the league and I think they beat Connacht or Ospreys for the playoffs, it'd be great for the league, for the sake of Irish rugby Ulster or Connacht need to get their act together though.

There are too many mediocre passengers in that Ulster team. Stockdale, Piutau, Hendo and Cooney shouldn't have to do it all on their own. Jordi Murphy must be having serious doubts about his move at thus point. The current game is alright to be fair, missed the start so I didn't see the tries but there's been some decent rugby so far.

As I said yesterday, a season out of Europe would do Ulster a lot of good but I hope it doesn't happen next year because I want Jordi's move to work out for him.

Ulster have really improved in the second half. They might just shade this. (As I say this they'll probably collapse and give away a 95m intercept.)

Comfortable win for Cardiff really. Looking forward to seeing the Ulster yellow card on TV, as it looked a red to me but I'm in the stand. Going to rue not taking bonus points in games when they are on due to patchy play.

Ulster are depressing to watch. Lots of talent but too much mediocrity there as well especially in the pack. Fair play to Cardiff they played much better but talent identification in Ulster is miles behind where it is in Leinster and Munster.

Excellent officiating for the Ulster try.

BP win important there!

All credit to Cardiff, really clinical and didn't let Ulster back into the game easily or commit a seismic amount of **** ups like I've seen from them in my few viewings this year. Ulster though... Incompetence personified, might send them a video of my unspectacular yet solid defensive season in various backline positions because I feel like they'd snap me up if theyb had any sense!

High tackle on shingler gets ignored and deliberate slowing down of the ball ! Munster got the ref in their pocket.
