France vs New Zealand

12 - 22 at HT

Great match to watch, very little ping pong, lots of running.
France very much in with a chance in the 2nd half, if NZ don't come out and increase intensity tenfold (which they have a tendancy of doing)

AB are not far from perfection , Carter is The Man , impressive ! France does not play so badly but we missed too much tackle and AB are playing faster than us . Lets hope , AB will run a little out of gas and France will be able to leveled up ;) . the match is overral nice !

Great bit of play by the french there,
Think they should've scrummed down again, or gone for the lineout, the kick was risky from that angle

Woooooow ! AB plays in another league this evening . And not lucky it is against us !

The french seem to be showing more attacking endeavour than the score would suggest and you'd think that they'd deserve a try to finish with, but the All Blacks have showed themselves in a totally different light to recent times. Would suggest that using the ball instead of kicking it away has a little more merit than the All Blacks have thought so far this season.

OMG ! it is really tough for France  ...

Carter is Superman , It was a mistake to make him come to Perpigan , he has learnt all our tricks :p

What was the scrap about? My stream froze just as it started, then unfroze with the ref talking to the captains :S

World Flyhalves:

1.Dan Carter
2. Daylight
3. Anyone else

All Blacks are awesome, so nice to see a team playing positive rugby being rewarded.

Damn Ellis is useless at times. Running in front of the play when Sivivatu had the ball and then being the most ineffectual thing in a ruck I've ever seen when Sivivatu was tackled.

IRB Player of the year has gone to Richie McCaw.

What bull.

Great performance from New Zealand. Great game.

RTÉ panal have conspiracy....Player of the year sponsored by Adidas...who coinidentally sponser...

Well...Idon't think we have to be ashamed of our performance, but NZ was in the stratosphere tonight.
Honestly can't see any team who could have rivalised with them.

If every test match could be played this way...

Envious tears on your pillow tonight then?

Greatest match from the All Blacks in the last year, and maybe since before 2007. All Blacks played great rugby. I am so happy for them. Our backs were amazing and forwards did well too. Can't think of a player ho didn't have an amazing game!

Well done to France, played great rugby and kept playing exciting attacking rugby to the end. The All Blacks picked a great game to shine.

SA played some wide stuff against Ireland tonight in the first half - ball through hands - but they're very conservative and in the end I think they got tired and confused.

Hopefully this means the end of the kick-and-hope strategy, and Argentina will remain the only top team trying to drown the game in a bath of boredom.

Unhopefully for Ireland's RWC pretensions, that would mean a return to AB dominance. Awesome destruction of France, and yet the ABs seem a bit light player-wise compared to four years ago. They can only get better, despite the turgid victory over England - more power to their elbow!

the all black team we have been used to seeing in recent times, not afraid to throw the ball around and have a crack with all the big name players stepping up. france did play well but just simply no match for an all black team firing on all cylinders. cory jane showed all his skills off tonight he has been a good find and looks set to have a long future in the abs if he keeps peforming like that. it has been a disappointing year for the all blacks having not won the tri-nations but great to finish off the big matches with a win and no doubt will give them confidence with the baa baas game next week.
