Haven't watched as much of Super Rugby as usual so don't know if I'll be able to think of a full team, but my shot...

15- Piutau [Anscomb also been playing at a really impressive level]
14-Poki
13-Ranger
12- Robert Eberson
11-Savea
10-Lealiifano has been pretty impressive but playing 12 mostly
9-Weepu has been solid and not a fatass
8-
7-Kolisi
6-Luatua
5-Whitelock
4-Steven Sykes?
3-
2-
1-
Can't think of an outstanding front row off hand. If its not obvious I miss most of the Aussie conference games.

Afeaki's been great for the Chiefs.

Cruden's been very good at first five, but he obviously hasn't been kicking the goals. He's created many tries and line breaks, and has distributed well. His general kicking has also been good.

So far and a rough list
1. Ben Franks
2. Adrian Strauss
3. Bean Afeaki
4. Sam Whitelock
5. Dominic Bird
6. Steven Luatua
7. George Smith
8. Fotu Auelua
9. TJ Peranara
10. Aaron Cruden
11. Julian Savea
12. Robert Ebersohn
13. Rene Ranger
14. Henry Speight
15. Jeese Mogg

Pretty similar to what I'd have.

1. B Franks
2. A Strauss
3. B Afeaki
4. S Whitelock
5. A Bekker
6. L Messam
7. G Smith
8. F Auelua

10. A Cruden
11. J Savea
12. R Ebersohn
13. C Smith
14. L Masaga
15. J Mogg

16. M Matu'u?
17. S Sio
18. D Bird
19. S Luatua
20. P Weepu
21. C Lealifano
22. C Piutau

Sorry, the only South African team I really keep up with is Free State...

I think Kahui has overtaken ranger and Conrad smith in his couple of games.

ranger has to be ahead of Conrad Smith though, he's been pretty epic

Cruden has been really good on attack, I think it's interesting for so long everyone talked about how important it was for him to put on weight and he talked about getting to the gym and building up. Well this year he looks to me to be small as ever. I guess he is just embracing what is his strength which is being small and agile. Really helps that the chiefs have two of the best openside flankers in the world covering his channel with him. Sam Cane can clock up 20 tackles a game easy. Also think Aki has been really strong on defense at 12

no way can I make a list myself because to be honest these days I only watch a couple of games a week with Kiwi teams.

My Kiwi 15 would be

1, Ben Franks - no real standout loose heads. I expect Allen, Toby Smith and Jamie Mackintosh to make more of an impact as the season goes on.
2, Coltman/Hika Elliot - honorable mention to Parsons who's been good for the blues with Mealamu resting.
3, Afeaki
4, Whitelock
5, Brodie Retalick - honorable mention to his cousin Callum Retalick who's been really good for the blues, so has Ali Williams
6, Liam Messam - honorable mention to George Whitelock
7, Sam Cane - honorable mention to Hardie who has been one of the most consist highlanders forwards
8, Kieran Read
9, TJP - this kid is surely going to be an All Black, I would select him this year.
10, Cruden
11, Hosea Gear
12, Aki/Crotty
13, Kahui/Ranger
14, masaga - I think the most watchable player in super rugby. Will be a shame to see him go.
15, Ben Smith - honorable mention to Gareth Anscombe who's influence has been a major factor to the chiefs continued success.

I'd have said Ludik up until our bye week.
Lambie must be considered at standoff.

1. Ben Afeaki
2. Adrian Strauss
3. The Beast
4. Rob Simmons
5. Francois Uys
6. Liam Messam
7. Sam Cane
8. Steven Luatua
9. Sarel Pretorious
10. Bernard Foley
11. Julian Savea (how you have anyone else here is ???)
12. Christian Lealiafano
13. Rene Ranger
14. Israel Folau
15. Gareth Anscombe

15. Beale
14. Mapoe
13. JdV
12. Nonu
11. Hosea Gear
10. Jantjies
9. Groom
8. Spoes
7. Watson
6. Rhodes
5. Thorn
4. Simmons
3. Kruger
2. Fourie
1. Mackintosh

Bit harsh on Watson, he only played one game. Mackintosh has actually been good, now that he's finally been given a start or two! Gear's been one of the better wingers in the competition, and I don't think Thorn has been terrible, just nothing fantastic.

Otherwise good list ;)

Yep, I agree with this. Gear has been one of our few standouts this season (though he had a shocker last night!), while Brad Thorn has actually been very good despite playing in a beaten pack every week.

And that is the problem really with some teams that are struggling. When you start noticing individuals performing rather than the whole team. I feel sorry for Nonu. I think there is a curse on the guy. Everywhere he goes his team struggle. Like South African players appearing on a show called Top Billing!

Gear has been fanatastic from what I've seen of him and same with Speight come to think of it.

Even so, it's hard to look past Savea for the form wing right now. It doesn't look like he's going to stop scoring tries any time soon.

Apart from when he plays the Blues.

He almost scored! Got called back as the player he intercepted the ball from was already out... Ouch!

I can't understand Perenara being picked over Weepu. Sure TJ has been good so far this season and you'd be an idiot to bet against him going on to be a highly capped All Black but right now I can't see past Weepu. His resurgence in form along with the Blues finding a try scoring back three from somewhere are the main reasons they've looked, at times, like championship winning material this season.

(Disclaimer: I have a massive man crush on Piri Weepu and the Blues are my Super Rugby team)

It's okay. As long as the crush stays in your head instead of down south whenever you see them play.

For me its

1. Ben Franks
2. Kyle Cooper
3. Ben Afeaki
4. Hugh Pyle
5. Andries Bekker
6. Pieter Labushagne
7. Liam Gill
8. Ben Mowen
9. Will Genia
10. Bernard Foley
11. Julian Savea
12. Robert Ebersohn
13. Tim Nanai-Williams
14. Henry Speight
15. Jesse Mogg

15. Beale
14. Mapoe
13. JdV
12. Nonu
11. Hosea Gear
10. Jantjies
9. Groom
8. Spoes
7. Watson
6. Rhodes
5. Thorn
4. Simmons
3. Kruger
2. Fourie
1. Mackintosh
Deon Fourie?? As in Stormers Hooker Deon Fourie?

Surely not, also Jantjies has been bang average and downright terrible at times, and Watson has played 22 minutes this season.
I'd struggle to make a comprehensive list with Australasians I watch what I can but it's hard to pass judgement on someone who you haven't watched every game.

My South African 15 would be something like:

1. Nkanye
2. Strauss
3. Malherbe
4. PSdT
5. Bekker
6. Pieter Labuschagne
7. Jaques Engelbregt
8. Cornell du Preez
9. Reinach
10. Lambie (for want of a better option)
11. Mapoe
12. de Villiers (considering JdV's form, I don't think Ebersohn has done enough)
13. de Jong
14. Willie le Roux
15. Ludik
