As an English fan, this sickens me. I can accept a bit of rivalry in the stadium but that's it. Outside you should be decent and if you have beaten a team you should offer to buy them a pint, not jeer. Absolute scum of society. England likes to think it has progressed beyond thuggishness but the reality is we simply haven't achieved anything and that is why is had been kept hidden.

Yeah, makes sense defensively for sure, probably makes Italy's job of looking after Sterling that bit easier the other way.

Imaging what these boards will be like if Italy are protecting a 1-0 lead, their "gamesmanship" is different level!
