England centre Manu Tuilagi has been formally warned by police for disorderly behaviour after jumping from a ferry in Auckland on Sunday night.
A Rugby Football Union (RFU) source confirmed that Tuilagi was detained by police after swimming a short distance to a pier at the ferry terminal.
The RFU would not comment on whether alcohol was involved but did says the player was unharmed.

He's got a £3k fine and a warning about future conduct from the RFU

Bet that £3k is going right in *insert name of any high ranking RFU board member*s retirement fund

Along with the 10k from the mouthguard incident...

Plenty of jokes going around the internet asking if the ferry was taking on water, they're saying if so, it's not the only sinking ship he should be trying to get away from.

Hehe that's quite a good one, but this whole jumping off the boat thing is awesome :p.

Sounds like England had a merry old time over here in good ol NZ. Just a shame it was never on the pitch.

England certainly gave queenstown some more publicity!
But it really is a shame that they didn't have one real performance this world cup. In the 6 nations they genuinely looked like a dark horse for the world cup, but it's as if they never really had a game plan when it came to playing against any 1st tier team.

Yeah they had what, the girls in the hotel complaint, the Mike Tindall incident, the mouthguard incident, the switching of balls incident, the Dylan Hartley's new ride incident[lmao] and now Manu trying to jump ship lmao!!!

It was actually organised by Christchurch officials, who pushed him off to gather publicity.

I guess it's a better way to cool down, than to jump on the roof of cars...
