Not really, we'd have centre cover and a back 3 player so it would look semi normal

Yes but the centre cover would still have been Umaga.
We'd have a back 5 player (probably Marchant) on the wing now instead of Robson.

Yes, I know - but it's still only 1 difference - where it matters least, and in a game that it doesn't matter at all.

The real difference, and the one that worries m,l is if someone else picks up a relatively minor injury, that they'd usually come off for; but plays through instead of putting Curry on the wing; and makes that injury worse than it otherwise would have been.
