England vs Japan - 12/11/22

Lesson there for Farrell, play to the whistle

Took a long time to blow the whistle there.....

Nkt faulting the long advantage just he should of blown earlier it was clear Japan weren't doing anything.

Not shaping out to be Japan's day early doors.

Great pass by Smith, put Steward perfectly into the hole.

Can we finally accept (and by we I mean EJ) that Youngs is too slow and just holds back the England attack.

So watching Finn Russell makes Flats twice as hard.

Think that classifies as too much information.

EJ be like, It's all part of the 4 year project mate, cripple Englands attack with Youngs at 9, then come WC time unleash descent 9s and see the attack free.

Steward looking good today. Unfortunately Japan don't look like they can put any pressure on England. They really need to start fast and put the opposition under pressure. England can start to relax and play more confidently now.

Nice offload from Joe C but a more pedantic ref would've called him for playing the ball on the floor - clearly presented it then brought it back then passed
Has a player ever been pinged for that?

Japan scrum half has gone for the throw it backward into the scrum and quickly got grab it. He should be pinged really making a mockery of never straight.
