Probably faster than Yade and McGuigan tbf@TRF_Olyy
One for you
"Manu has got zillions of caps and I don't think he cares where he gets them to be honest," said Sanderson.
"I'm sure it's not a case of Manu staying on the wing for the whole game. There's going to be some Eddie Jones-style tactics which will incorporate him as the lead runner or even a dummy runner.
"I think they will use him smartly, particularly with the distributors that they've got at 10, 12 and 13.
"That's going to be quite exciting to watch. I'm really interested to see how it goes. Who knows, he might be playing on the wing for us in the future if it works out."
Sanderson to start playing Curry at 8 and Manu at 14 for Sale pls

If he really wanted to force Farrell back in the side but have Smith at 10, why not drop Slade, have Manu at 13 and Radwan/Malins on the wing? It's just baffling.15 yes
14 WTF
13 Yes
12 why?!
11 yes
10 yes
9 Okay i suppose given Quirkes first cap
Faz will prevent any Smith flare from coming through.
Manu Slade combo works but at 13.
Manu on the Wing? Malins has played great there recently and Manu just hasnt played there,
The issue is we and EJ wants Smith starting...but is backed into a corner as Faz is the captain. But i just expect put him in for Radwan and just push everyone else up a number....but i guess thats what he dod to get lawes at 6...
Was so happy when i saw that Steward was at 15

Hardly surprising, he's done this with Brown on the wing previously.
Age doesn't bring an extra yard of pace but losing 6 kilos does. Apparently Manu's recorded his fastest ever GPS scores in the last couple of weeks.Makes it even more bizarre then as if he wanted him out, why not just pick someone else?
I'm fairly sure Manu has played on the wing before, but one thing that doesn't come with age is that extra yard of pace.
Like he has to do one thing to fly in the face of expectation.
Manu may be at his personal fastest but I'd reckon the likes of May, Radwan or a fit Watson would still easily do him for top end speed and, more importantly, acceleration. But, as you say, there are plenty of other reasons to dislike the idea.Age doesn't bring an extra yard of pace but losing 6 kilos does. Apparently Manu's recorded his fastest ever GPS scores in the last couple of weeks.
There are a lot of reasons why I don't like Manu on the wing but a lack of pace isn't one of them.
He played a test in 2014, and a bit at super rugby. But he's not good.Has Slipper ever played tighthead before?
