Lucky all came from a daft chip by Smith. That's a definite penalty against Earl, maybe even a yellow considering it was a 1 on 1 chase back

I don't like the rule but I do think I've seen some recently where a player has lost control of the ball and then fallen on it to score. Why not go back to just being in control?I'm going to hate that rule. Why make the game more complicated and less entertaining?
Wait, is there a new law/interpretation?I don't like the rule but I do think I've seen some recently where a player has lost control of the ball and then fallen on it to score. Why not go back to just being in control?
Hand has to be touching when it's grounded.Wait, is there a new law/interpretation?
Are you saying that TMO was right to question the left hand, despite the ball being held firmly between right arm and body?
WTF?
Basically the player has to have at least one hand on the ball when scoring. Forearm for example is not enough.Wait, is there a new law/interpretation?

Why?Hand has to be touching when it's grounded.
Ridiculous.Basically the player has to have at least one hand on the ball when scoring. Forearm for example is not enough.
Dunno. I can understand the issue when some players drop the ball and score with their body. However, hand touching the ball seems extreme. Why?
When?
Exactly - what if it's tucked under the arm?Dunno. I can understand the issue when some players drop the ball and score with their body. However, hand touching the ball seems extreme.
No idea.Why?
When?
