England vs Australia - 09/11/24

That was poor from England. Just needed to go through the hands and England should have had another try.

Earl is becoming a liability with his antics.

I'm going to hate that rule. Why make the game more complicated and less entertaining?
I don't like the rule but I do think I've seen some recently where a player has lost control of the ball and then fallen on it to score. Why not go back to just being in control?

What was the ref doing there. He walked right past Curry and looked and decided to carry on.

Wait, is there a new law/interpretation?
Are you saying that TMO was right to question the left hand, despite the ball being held firmly between right arm and body?
WTF?

That's a danger to players the actions by the referee

Basically the player has to have at least one hand on the ball when scoring. Forearm for example is not enough.

Hand has to be touching when it's grounded.
Why?
When?

Ridiculous.

ETA: cheers for the explanation though guys. Presumably TNT are/were talking about it.
I'm watching Stan, and they made no mention whatsoever, except hoping it would be disallowed but not expecting it.

Dunno. I can understand the issue when some players drop the ball and score with their body. However, hand touching the ball seems extreme.
I can't.
If you drop the ball, then it's a knock on, not then scored with the body.
