England vs Australia - 09/11/24

Very nice try

Defence falling apart since Curry's injury (not saying he was the glue, more that we look like the break has made us lose our concentration)

Yeah, if Aus ever get a good pack and a back line to see around him their attack could be lethal.
Looking like a pair of good assured half backs away from being a properly dangerous team again really.

England have stepped off but should have really strangled the game away after their second try.

Since when, upper part of body is acceptable ground contact.

And he always had one hand on ball.
Apparently these new directives. I hadn't heard before TNT explained it.

That one was within it because his fingers stayed on is my understanding.

England don't seem to have any patience to build the phases. At the minute they're either scoring or giving up procession cheaply.

It used to be Ringer's job in our defence, he was excellent at it and always forced the target inside if he missed. Slade not so assured, which isn't great considering how high risk it is.

Moroni did it for us and Argentina also if you are quick enough to catch the guy man on ball it's crazy effective of shutting down big players. Slade doesn't have that speed imo

Surely with this new obstruction thing, the chasers also need to not change their angle. They need to be running in a straight line towards the catcher and that guy seemed to put CCS between him and Sleightholm before angling into him.

I get the offside, but no idea what O'Keefe gave the second advantage for. The ball was clearly available.
