England vs Australia - 09/11/24

This is 1 of only 4 matches for Australia before they play the Lions.
Given that, then A] @TopTen2003's desire to see a turning point moment had better come soon; and B] you can see why Schmidt wants as many minutes into Suaali'i as possible before then.
Obviously, it's still too soon for him, and likely to go horribly wrong (and probably horrible right as well), but you can see the logic.
It does kind of make sense but it's a big ask for Suali'i.

I really don't understand why Australia haven't organised any warm-up games prior to the Lions fixtures. There's a fairly obvious window to do it too.

I don't know why Slade and Lawrence bothered changing shirt numbers. Lawrence is still standing at inside centre on defence.

That is exactly what England have been missing.
The FH kicking the ball?
Or the bit of luck that the ball bounced to Lawrence not the other 3?
Or the just managing to get the pass out to the next man until it actually finds someone with enough space to throw a pass?

Lawrence got there cause he's a better athlete and has more dawg in him.
The offloading to turn it into a try was very impressive.

Do find it funny when kickers grab some grass and throw it in the air as if it makes the slightest bit of difference to their kicking prep - Slade didn't even look at it when he threw it then
