England v South Africa

I actually am worried about the English. They have been playing good rugby in their recent games. That being said, they are playing a team that has been very forward minded and used kicking as their attack. Isn't anyone else worried that England will return to old ways by getting sucking into matching the Boks head on and having a huge forward battle.

<O:p</O:pThat is the only way I can see England losing. That or the Boks click and start firing out balls to the backs like an AK-47.<O:p</O:p
i can still see england wining even in a forward battle

Another win for England imo, tbh they are looking great and its a shame they arent playing the All Blacks again next week, I think it would be a different game altogether. Nice to see England throwing the ball around like they have been and coming up with results, its certainly shut up alot of people at work who just love to call England a 10 man rugby team, keep it up!

I think he was referring to SA, Olyy.
I'd say that's true of them at the moment. They seem to be ignoring the talent they have out wide (- Kirchner ofc)

As a Scot it pains me to say it but I can see England giving the boks a right good thrashing. Cole and Sheridan should have the south african fron row on toast and the athletic nature of lawes may be too much for matfield to deal with. Il say england by at least 15!

I've never seen a rugby game during snow before, should be interesting. Then again it never snows here (Cape Winelands) we think it's a myth, those white stuff on the mountains that come now and then is just... white rain or something.

Just too glad we never experience snow here ;). Also never watched a Rugby match played in snow. Do they change the ball to orange like in football? Also England would surely have to play in changed kit then not so?

They have been doing it for a while now, that last win over in Aussie in Aussie was an awesome game.

First time I can remember I will be cheering for England vs a Southern Hem team, not just because England is playing terrific Rugby but SA has been playing like a traditional 10 man northern hem team for a while now with a few patches of expansive rugby but most of it has been dull as heck over the past decade or so.

With what I have seen so far I cant see SA having a vegan Cannibal's chance of winning this one. England by 20+.

Does anyone know which channel will have a live broadcast of the match? I've watched the matches against Ireland, Wales and Scotland on BBC1 but for some reason none of the England matches seem to be shown live on BBC. Is there something with the tv rights of the English team or something? BBC only has highlights later that night

Sky show England home non-6 nations games with bbc showing highlights in the evening

Well, I guess I won't be on TRF on saturday then ;) I will have to download the match first, watch it afterwards and discuss it all only on sunday

There are plenty of places online where you'll be able to watch it. I can't give you any urls though, "justin" case the "TV" companies have a go at us.

I know that one Bullitt ;) I just prefer to watch it in high quality.

England: B Foden (Northampton); C Ashton (Northampton), M Tindall (Bath), S Hape (Bath), M Cueto (Sale); T Flood (Leicester), B Youngs (Leicester); A Sheridan (Sale), D Hartley (Northampton), D Cole (Leicester), C Lawes (Northampton), T Palmer (Stade Francais), T Croft (Leicester), L Moody (Leicester, capt), N Easter (Harlequins).

Replacements: S Thompson (Leeds), D Wilson (Bath), S Shaw (Wasps), H Fourie (Leeds), D Care (Harlequins), C Hodgson (Sale), M Banahan (Bath).

England team - hope they can click again and put in a massive performance.

Recently read that Victor Matfield said that the only thing wrong with the Boks were the execution of the 'gameplan' last Saturday.. England by 12.

Its so frustrating to know that the player quality and depth is there (our injury list aside) but that it counts for nought with the current Bok management, coaching staff and senior players' lack of interest in adapting to the current game. With no chance of making corrections towards RWC 2011, this will be the start of the Springboks sliding to no. 5 on the IRB rankings before a real coach can take over the reins.

0 surprises there then,
Hopefully, as Johnson keeps bleating on about, continuity is key. Hape had his best game that I've ever seen against Samoa, so hopefully he can build on that

Welcome to the horrible feeling the English have suffered over the past 7 years (and still do to a certain extent).

Well, if you guys can make it to the final in a tournament where you lose 36-0 in the group stage, I guess everything is possible for SA.
