I would like to register my objection that anyone from Newcastle has been called up.
Doesn't Eddie know that Newcastle is quite a long way away from Pennyhill, and that Radwan will have a fair bit of driving (or a small bit of flying) to do, just for a 2 day camp to keep in touch with the coaches, calls, play-book etc and feel some love from the England camp.
Bloody Aussies, just don't appreciate how far 300 miles is!

Some say that if you're very very quiet then on Monday's at midday you can actually hear Radwan burst into tears at being forced into yet another England camp.

Well this thread already started at a low point, so I guess the only way is up

Surprised Koch didn't have full release written into his contract, though I guess he didn't hold many bargaining cards being clubless at the time

And did that prop in ancient time
Walk upon England's mountains green?
And was the holy Ellis Genge
On England's pleasant pastures seen?

And did the countenance divine
Shine forth upon our Johnny Hills?

And was Jerusalem builded here
Among Rassies incoherent trills?

CAM AN INGLUND. SCORE SAM FACKING TRUYS.

I'm sure Radwan loves the 5 hours drive, only to outperform Nowell in training knowing full well he's back driving 5 hours again in a couple of days.

Bet he can't wait.

God save our gracious Genge
Long live our noble Genge
Send him victorious
Girthy and furious
Long to reign over Boks
GOD SAVE OUR GENGE

**** Rassie
Girthy. Duty rumour is Etzebeth is a girthy boy. A human tripod. In fact when SA team play cricket he's the stumps....source Elton Jantjies.

This looks pretty good to me.

Roos and Orie are new to me. Any good?
Roos was THE SA break out player last season but hasn't been able to reach the same heights this year. Very much a ball carrier. Stormers use him in lieu of a DDA in the midfield. That said I am happy for him to gain the exposure. Orie I wouldn't even start at the Stormers. His continued selection for the Bokke in behind the usuals baffles.

If England put forward a halfway decent team they should be winning it at home. Orie might as well not be there. I'd much rather have had Mostert at lock, Deon Fourie and Kwagga in at 7 and 8 with Roos and Nortje on the bench. Kolisi-Mostert-Roos is a head-scratcher as far as loose trio combinations go.

In the backs, start Libbok at 10, Willemse at 12 and DDA 13 and I'd have been a happy man despite the weird pack selections. All in all the selections feel a bit like barrel scraping TBH. Really hope Libbok comes on early. Its not just the attacking dimensio he brings and general kicking. I fully expect that we will be needing to land our kicks at goal. Willemse isn't going to give us that whilst Libbok lands clutch kicks for the Stormers week in and week out.

I suppose end of season and outside of the test window whilst carrying a few injuries will do that so I suppose it could've looked worse.

I think that looks a good RSA side tbh - I don't really recognise the bench backs but it's a good starting side

I don't have much faith in the England team (I know the side hasn't been announced, but just the EPS setup in general) - the final 10 vs NZ was great, but the preceding 70 was some of the worst we've played in ages. I think we're far more likely to play like that first half than we are to play balls-to-the-wall like the final 10

Of course EJ could make some big changes to both gameplan and personnel, but I just don't see it happening

Depends how we go with selection, if we goes Smith Faz Manu then we will play like last game, surely EJ has realised it hasnt worked and the balance is off.

I see us starting either itoje or Coles at 6 to match SA and likely Willis drops out and Simmonds and Ribbans on the bench...all would annoy me.

I just hope EJ starts Willis at 6, gives Slade at start at 13, either Freeman, Murley or Radwan(in that order at 14) and has Coles OR Ribbans at 19.
