And, maybe just this video or it's my personal wrong visual perception, but : during those times players were less physically developed,also there was less aggression/danger behaviour on the pitch than now, and, in this concrete video scrums look..weird.

Your observations are correct.

I've honestly never even seen a modern day rugby league scrum lol.

Players were leaner back then in American Football too. There's been a big advancement in muscle building products since then. And training has changed as well. There's a lot more emphasis on strength training with free weights and using weight machines. Rugby teams have strength and conditioning consultants and dieticians, etc. that they didn't have back in the old school era. I enjoyed the video, thanks for sharing.
