England v Scotland

I think he might,
If not start I think he'll come on for Hape with 30mins to go

When I was looking through training pictures everyone was in normal numbers (i,e The team were 1-15 as they were against France) apart from Wilko at 10 (expected due to Flood being rested) and Banahan at 12

Poor idea if it happens - then again Hape is poor there as well, so just replacing poo with poo

Banahan may be poo, but I'd still rather replace the old poo (Hape) with some fresh poo (Banahan).

...Lol at the faeces references :p

EDIT: I agree that Tindall's a great centre I remember watching him play alongside Noon when I was about 8 years old on my dads lap while he was shouting "Comeon Mike!!!" :D. But I think it's time a 'newer model' was bought in.

In other news, Lawes says he's fit for this match, and wants to play if he's selected

Shaw missed the Wasps game yesterday through injury, so I wouldn't be surprised to see Lawes on the bench for this match

Oooh, wouldn't want to risk putting Lawes in too early. But It would be good to see him alongside Palmer for the Ireland game.

I'd give Lawes another week with Saints (unless injuries mean we're really short in the second row), then bring him into the 22 for the Ireland game. Croft looks OK to wear 19 against Scotland as well.

Only heard commentary from BBC Radio (which was terrible) but from what I heard Flutey played very well, and Waldouck was looking lively before going off

HMS Banahan has about as much business being in the England team - especially at centre - as I do. Horrible idea.

Tindall is a quality player who's past his best. HMS is a piece of ****.
you are wrong very simple... bannahan is faster and stronger than tindall with equal hands and better offloads

He also is a defensive liability with no creativity and the turning circle of an oil liner. Plus HMS Banahan accelerates like a boat.

The bloke is a boat. A big, slow boat. Seemples.

I heard he was put on standby in case the Cumberland had any problems going to and from Libya

I don't think that Hape is international material! He shows no passion and seems to stutter when given the ball. I really think he needs to shape up or ship out.

Missed out on a corny gag there: He needs to S-Hape up or Ship out! But yes i agree Hape just seems like he doesn't fit in with the rest of the group, you never really see him carrying the ball, or at all to be fair. BTW all of those calling Tindall bad obviously did'nt watch the England France game and he maybe past his best days but he's still better than putting bloody Banahan on. I think we stick to our guns until the Six Nations is won ( We know it's going to happen) and then give some of the centres a look in. Then we find the best that fits with Ashton, Foden, Cueto and continue the inevitable path to World Cup Glory!

Bannahan ihas okay speed for a centre, certainly a bit quicker than tindall.

again i agree Bannahan is not agile in any sense of the word but neither is tindall.
I agree Bannahan is not very creative... neither is tindall.
as for defense bannhan works well against big modern centres (for example he never would have been bumped off by rougarie like what happened in IR v FR )
Both tindall and bannahan can be shown up by runner who has a good step.
In conclusion:

Crash ball:
B>T

Handleing:
B=T

Speed:
B>T

creativity:
B=T

Offloads:
B>T

Defense:
B=T

(imo bannahan is a better defender than Tindall as J Guscott commented on Tindall's defensive weakness's, however i know some would disagree with this)

Tindall is way more creative than Banahan, and he's not even very creative
Tindall is a better defender than Banahan. He may not hit as hard as Banahan, but defending at 13 is about positioning etc. something which Tindall does better than Banahan

Banahan is a wing, not a centre, I wish Johnson would realise that - he also can't cover FB either, so that would mean shifting Cueto to FB in the event of an injury to Foden
Bench should be: 21. Flyhalf/Centre, 22. Wing/Fullback
Wilkinson can cover 12 at a push (or Flood can move in one) but Banahan is just Wing/Centre - Ojo should be there over him, even Abendanon would make more sense

tbh if were honest with ourselves neither tindall or bannahan are creative in the slightest.
secondly tindall is quite often shown up by quick guys with good steps when he comes shooting up out the lin which i have seen happen several times

Guscott would say Banahan is better. He plays for Bath.

o come on he is a professional pundit, it doesnt pay to be biased.

he played for bath 11 years ago not now

And put 3 past Northampton!

What's that got to do with the price of fish? There aren't any defensively useless players in the Six Nations as Greig Tonks - And that includes O'Choke.

Really? So there's no bias in broadcasting at all?

My arse.
