Well done England but this is a tradegy for Rugby as a whole. One of the most Sterile, tacticly inept teams to play the game has now gone through to the final. Its not actually Englands fault though. Its those f***ing French. They have f***ed up the whole tournament for everyone. Gobshites.

lol tragedy for rugby? u cannnot be serious.. a team written off by every nation, slated by their own press has reached the WC final thorugh sheer guuts and determination....i spose ure still a bit bitter the irish were never even in the french game...where was o driscolls magic there? lets face it, if WCs were about attacking rugby and flair NZ wud have won it everytime..sure they can put 100 on romania, but they cant even put a drop goal over with 70 percent possession and 26 phases inthe french 22...knock out rugby is all about heart and the ability to cope wit pressure...our boys can handle the pressure better, its that simple....70 mins onthe clock with france up by one point wot do they do...give a pen rite infornt of the posts to u know who...LOL

I have been laughing on and off since the end of the match. The Matt Dawson got a call on BBC 5Live from his neighbour without realizing for about half the phone call. That had me in hysterics. England Rugby turned me insane.

Edit: Hmmmm seen the updates. Couple of good points. England have come back from the ashes, they have performed heroics on the way and you guys should be delighted becase of this. Doesnt hide the fact that they play horrible rugby. That is my concern here.

Why play 15 man rugby like New Zealand, France and others, when

1) It doesn't suit you
2) Those teams have been beaten out the RWC with whimpers
3) They tried it and lost, tried winning ugly and have got to their 2nd RWC Final.

pfft 15 man rugby my ass....name one game this WC where evrythings onthe line and it really matters, and teams r throwin the ball around like its sevens...wales v fiji is the only one i can think of and look where that got wales...nz tried and guess wot...whenn things went pear shaped they went 26 phases of awful up the jumper rugby, and still didnt even capitalise onthe possession and terrirory...admittedly frances try to seal the game was amazing, but lets not forget there were a couple of foward passes in there as well...south africa nearly imploded against fiji also....if u think SA against Argentina is not gonna be more fo the same up and unders tryin to force mistakes, then u havent been watchin this WC properly...i know how bout we cahnge the rules so that the fly half is no longer allowed the kick the ball and the ball has to go through every pair of hands in the backline evry single phase, so as to promote ur ideas on 'open rugby'...pathetic from a bitter loser, dont worry, theres always NZ 2011

Difference.......... Jonny Wilkinson. I thought I'd never say it, but this guy has to be the best player anyone could hope for. So composed, so reliable and if we had him in the 1/4 final we would have won from a drop goal. He keeps delivering at the right time.

Just so you are all aware, I am a quarter british (I only reveal this now), and that quarter is very proud for the english. The other 3/4s in completely amazed England have made it to the final!!!

Next weekend meet up is going to be HUGE !!!

ure correct about wilko saving us time and time again, but i think ull find that hes been off form this tournament and in all fairness hes been injured for the last 4 yrs....he no longer seems to get those touchline conversions and pens like clockwork but o well he got them in the end when it mattered..thinkin over the france ab game i cant beleive the abs lost their compsure and just didnt take a drop goal from about 30m out instead of waiting till they had beenpushed back to the half way line, and i honestly feel that if the Abs had got thru that match then they wud have beaten us tonite but o well, on such small things r big games won

Quite! England are sooooooooo boring to watch. The game was terrible. It's all the fault of the French - if they had played some exciting rugby today we'd have had an entertaining match and an entertaining final. Now the final could be a terrible anti-climax to a superb tournament.
