Watson goes back to the full squad Thompstone replaces him.
Brookes in for Mercey
Robson in for Lewis

An additional back will be announced.... I'm assuming it's going to be a centre because Hill and Hopper have both gone back to their clubs with injuries.

First few minutes are really bad quality but then it sharpens up for some reason and is almost television quality for the rest.

This is all about Daly's class. If there is such a thing as an answer, tis he.

Definitely need a 12... Thompstone, Daly and Roko can all cover 13.

I definitely think Daly should start at 13.

Whichever of Barritt, Burrell, Eastmond, and Twelvetrees that isn't/aren't going to play could drop down.

Given there are four inside-centres I'm sure the EPS could spare them.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Slade start 12 for the Saxons, complements Burns quite well with a left foot-right foot combination and is Farrellesque in his defence.
Plus has experience of playing there frequently.

Saying that, would rather see him start at 10 with an EPS 12 drop down and drop Burns to the bench.

They played 10/12 for a large part of the saxons game and there was nothing complementary to be said about them.

I, too, would start Slade at 10.

I think daly will take goodes place eventually might be later this year though . Seems the sarries in the back line is steadily being slimmed out

Some of that attacking play was a delight to watch.

Suspect they'll shuffle Daly to 13, Miller off the bench, Roko starting or not in Watson's place depending on just how fit he is... throw in some guy at 12 and there we go. Not Slade please. The last thing Burns needs right now is a kid who needs guiding through and doesn't offer the physical outlet.

So looks like both May and Nowell will start very happy with that! Just hope they get a run of games to prove themselves. Hope neither is dropped if they feel to make an imapct in the France game.

I think Watson will be taken to France with the rest of the squad for the experience.
