I'm not backing anybody. The only team that really matters is out. I'm certainly not backing Wales, Ireland or Scotland, because you'd not get many of their chippy supporters with their inferiority complex and their pathetic "Anybody but England" rule, which doesn't really have an equvalent amongst the more grown up England fans, supporting England at any point..

4 are supporting France?
Stick with the traditions, we can't be supported by Saxons, Jutes or Angles !
No thanks. :p
Support by Scottish, Welsh and Irish is always welcome.
Go Celts!

Australia. Always been the least annoyed when losing to Aussies opposed to any other nation.

Their culture and style of play are appealing.

Really hope Pocock and Hooper continue the way they did, that was some impressive breakdown work, England were clueless against it.

They aren't "Celts". That's just an invention of 18th century Scottish, Welsh and Irish nationalists who wanted to try and make it look as though they are different from the English. The Scottish, Welsh and Irish are no more "Celtic" than the English are.

I like the French TBH.

there has been plenty of them when i find myself in London, all seem to like the place.

Women are prettier than in Wales and Scotland. (Although I like the Irish Accent).

TBH the only 6N team I dislike is the Welsh.

If its any condolence, if Ireland had been knocked out now I probably wouldve started supporting England until a semi or so... then I would have to shift my allegiance to a SH team

It sounds rather like you're the one who's being pathetic here and making assumptions about who Wales, Ireland or Scotland fans would support if their team went out. If you're such a grown up England fan maybe you could teach us all how to behave by setting a good example.

For the record I'd have rather England have gone through at the expense at oz but it wasn't to be.

I'm Argentinian now. Easy decision, have considered them my second team ever since they entered the RC for a couple of reasons:

1) Pure admiration for what they have achieved in rugby despite historic disadvantages (no professional league; and far fewer top tier matches) - 2007 specifically but their place at the top(ish) table in general
2) I can't bring myself to support the Aussies, the All Blacks or the Saffas so a competition featuring only those three killed me. Glad to have a team in the SH I can actually support with a clean conscience!
3) Have a thing for Hispanic / Latin culture, learnt Spanish at school and it's a beautiful language attached to some lovely cultures. And spoken by some absolutely stunning, sexy women ... you haven't truly had sex until you've had sex in Spanish. Fact

France for me. Barking mad the lot of 'em, but capable of playing some sublime rugby and you're never quite sure what will happen next.

Ireland will be my 2nd choice and the winner of Ire v Fra will go a long way.

From the SH, I'll be rooting for the Argies.

Who do I THINK will win it? Australia.

I don't know if so many kiwis voting for themselves is pathetic or quite adorable.

NZ & OZ because I've lumped on the two of them outright and bet them Both to make the final.

I'm trying to think who I'd support if we get knocked out before the final. Probably Argentina, Ireland or Wales, then France. Traditionally I'd go with another big SH country but I like the thought of other countries winning it too now that all three SH countries have 2 ***les each it would be nice to see it shared a little.
From a strategic growth stand point a win for the Pumas would be hard to beat though.

If your team gets knocked out, why support another team ... Why not just relax, and enjoy some (hopefully) entertaining rugby as a neutral.
