England 6 Nation squad 2024

He's class without form, which is probably due to carrying an injury, which is probably not going to be resolved this side of the summer tour.

Must have missed the bit about Welsh regions doing so well in Europe in recent years.
Wait, so because I mention Sale misfiring, you go on attack about my nations regions lol.

Why so sensitive and defensive?

Are sale having a blinder? I must have missed those stellar performances from them, in the 3/4 games I think I only saw 1 stuttering win.

Sale misfiring is a fact hahaha

Sale have won as many games as teams 2-7 in the premiership. They are basically a win away from being in the top 2. I won't say that's misfiring is it?

If it is then bath, sarries, Exeter and Leicester and also misfiring.

Certainly sarries and Leicester are misfiring with Sale. They all had 70% + win rates last season didnt they? Finished 1,2,3 in the league. This season they are all sub 60%.

Exeter less so, Bath after what they had spent youd expect a bit more.

That enough evidence for my opinion for you, or shall we go into match performance stats too?

Keep reading everywhere what a brilliant guy George is, relaxed, that he's a people person able to relate to everyone etc.

Not doubting that at all. But if that's the case, why wasn't he in the captaincy frame years ago?

Even Lawes was in the paper a few days back saying it would be a lot more relaxed under George. Stopped short of criticising Farrell but there was a clear message that he expected things to be better under a less intense regime.

Obviously if we're rubbish against Italy I'll be saying he's the wrong guy for the job, mad decision as he doesn't captain his club……

lol what evidence did you provide?
Comparing the win rate of teams at the end of the season vs where they are now just over mid way through the season isn't really showing anything.

Plus we were talking about sale misfiring, when in reality they are just off top 2. That's not misfiring. If they end up too 4 after the next round does that change anything?

Need to see where they sit at the business end of the season really but also got to look at injuries etc.

RDP looks goods at 10 for sale and Ford doesn't. That's more on Ford than sales form.

Let's not out more pressure on Ford than we have to - he's knees already baggered with just 10 stone going through it!

Astounding that the game this week was Clare's first 6N game for 6 years, AND it was still his 97th cap.

Those two things seem incompatible

Where's the sensitivity? if Sale miss firing is a valid justification for Fords lack of Form how can the same logic not be applied to much of the Welsh players when a lot of their players clubs are miss firing?

Think that's the same as last week?
Beard fit again but Muir stays in camp now taking Marcus Smith's spot?

I'd like to see

1. Obano/Genge (Genge if fully fit, if not Obano)
2. George (He's captain so...)
3. Stuart (Give him a run of games)
4. Itoje (Back in form and we need the experience)
5. Chessum (If it ain't broke...)
I don't think the back row worked at all against Italy. Very unbalanced with Roots and Underhill essentially doing the same job of hitting big. We need a proper 7 to get turn overs. Having said that, we don't really have many options.

6. Underhill/Roots/Pearson (Trying to decide who best compliments Curry and Earl. Possibly Roots after last game and give him another chance)
7. B. Curry (Need a turnover specialist)
8. Earl (Didn't have a huge impact against Italy, but has credit in the bank)

9. Mitchell (Compliments Smith and played relatively well last week)
10. F. Smith (Ford is out of form, give him a chance to create something)
11. Feyi-Waboso ( I'd personally give Feyi-Waboso a go and see what magic he can create)
12. Freeman (Looks made for test rugby. He runs excellent lines and can also break a tackle. I think he'd compliment Slade better)
13. Slade (Gives us experience in midfield)
14. Roebuck (Give some security at the back)
15. Steward (Had a better game against Italy and gives some stability)

16. Dan (I don't trust Blamire right now)
17. Marler/Obano (If Genge fully fit then Obano, if not Marler)
18. Cole (However would hope to see him improve the scrum or else he's not worth picking)
19. Coles (Only option, but solid enough)
20. Dombrandt (Maybe harsh on CCS, but I think he should be with the u20s)
21. Spencer (I feel like Care is wasting experience)
22. Ford (Experience on the bench)
23. Furbank (See if he can bring his form)
