DHL Stormers vs British & Irish Lions

N'able to watch this but if someone could please describe every Marcus Smith mistake to me in excruciating detail that'd be sound.

Pure filth!

I expect that back line to put 100 points on the stormers. Marcus Smith is a Demi god and Henshaw at 12 is more machine than human.

Having just listened to a pod with Marler and Tipuric where I learned that Sexton is a cheerleader in the Justin Tipuric fanboy club I have withdrawn all support for Smith and now hope he fails miserably. Absolutely ******* disgusting decision by Gats to not call up my boy Sexton.

Smith will work well with a hard carrying 12 like Henshaw and a quick 13 like Daly he could have a very good showing, i really hope he does have a great game(even if he puts 100 points single handedly he isnt a test starter). But i hope he goes well.

As i said before its his hard work and form that got him there and not his fault he was chose over more experienced players so ill just judge his performance and no if he should be there.

Oh, man. Just back in time from the boendoes to make the game not that I think we'll be able to compete. Hopefully we can keep the Lions below 50 and keep it competitive for at least 6- minutes. That line up of ours is just way to green and with so little time together. I understand the Bok players are in a bubble but it'd have been nice to have our few Bokke. Man, if I think if we did have our Bokke, injured players and players that moved on to other clubs relatively recently:

1 Kitshoff
2 Mbonambi / Ntubeni
3 Malherbe
/ Koch / Louw
4 Etzebeth
5 Shickerling
6 PSDT
7 Kolisi
8 Jaco Coetzee
9 H Jantjies
10 Willemse

11 Van der Merwe
12
De Allende
13 Pretorius
14
Kolbe
15 Gelant

That could've been a proper challenge.

This is the first game all tour I'm not doing something else.

Interesting having Owens on commentary.

I thought Owens would be a great insight but he seemed to disagree with a lot of calls which doesn't help any refs really.

I imagine the view is a lot different than being on the pitch. Easy to disagree with replays, harder if he had to make the same call from the place.
Yeah you have to wonder if he thonk his job is to be critical or to explain. One would think it's the latter rather than the former.

Are we going to give Smith the ball? Most going through the forwards currently.

WTF, Daly is not predominantly a fullback. He's been forced into the roll by Jones after a stint on the wing. Don't make out he's always been a fullback.
