Hopefully that pleased Steve Hansen. Really think the SH teams should be worried about the NH teams.

I hope they take no notice and come over cocky. I really believe Ireland England Wales or France will be World Champions. Watch this space the SH teams will get caught

Yeh congrats Ireland thought you guys were the best team over the whole competition . I'd just like to thank Wales for beating Ireland last week so we could have this day of rugby . Best day of rugby I've ever seen ! Just a shame Steve Hansen wasn't about today doubt he would have said it was boring then .....

When I have lunch tomorrow the thanks at grace will be for this day of rugby . I feel like an addict I can't stop thinking about all 3 games !!!

Worthy champions. Back to back tournaments, that's a big achievement in a coach's first two years and it was well deserved.

Here's to next year - in fact, to hell with it - lets just cancel the WC and have a second 6N in the autumn ^_^

As a Welshman i am glad that the tournaments best team won the ***le , in 2009 in the final match in Cardiff when Ireland were going for grand slam , i can honestly say there were Welshmen openly supporting Ireland , and many more who couldn't care which way it went , Stephen Jones had a last min pen and even the most hardened fan would of felt for Ireland if he had kicked it , yesterday probably not one wanted Ireland to pip Wales to the ***le but to a man (except for that posh Welshman Eddie Butler????)...if Wales weren't to win then the best team Ireland would win , only what can be described as the best defensive display by any Welsh team in history prevented Ireland winning the grand slam .. so congratulations .. . Ireland are looking good for the world cup , Wales if they get out of group may spring a surprise , but that's a big IF . Australia have a hold over Wales ,no matter if we play better they still beat us , and the organisers wont want holders out early ,so Wales will have to overcome at least one hurdle, BUT Ireland's display's against the SH teams last Autumn show they are capable of beating anybody . NZ and South Africa along with England are probably favourites , but i foresee green (IF not red).being the colour to worry most .. again well done . and it's not very often we have NH teams in a rich vein of form coming into the WC year
