Meh, can't say I've ever been a fan of his work. 6/10.

Altogether now.... UUUUUUUULLAAAAAAA!![/b]
Doesn't talk like a Welsh guy, does he?

Marked it down because it's 9 mins, so 7/10.

Something shorter - 2:29 mins - when Steven Spielberg first heard this he said, "Is that it?"

Moozic is ooniversal!

Probably the best use anybody has ever made of just 2 notes: 8/10.

This is the ***le track from one of my all-time favourite albums, and features what I feel to be the finest guitar solo ever played (that should give away the artist):

Hendrix always recieves an automatic 10, this is no exception. Quite an under rated song this one, brilliant guitar solo as you said, the album as a whole is just perfect. In fact all three Experience albums are perfect.

One of the more interesting songs from Electric Ladyland; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k0_NG01p9fI

10/10. as you said.

there's several reasons i can't find this on youtube Monsieur R - FranSSe

opening line:"La France est une garce n'oublie pas de la baiser, jusqu'à l'épuiser, comme une salope faut la traiter"

roughly, "France is a gash, don't forget to f*** it until you've worn it out, you should treat it like a whore". Not very popular with the French government...

Clunky. Thought those girls were contracted to do a stickshift porn scene. Lovely ***s, but the production has a lot of the dull, childish, hateful stuff from rap. And the "-ation" rhymes in French are soooo lazy.

3/10.

This thread is very long, so I thought time to go back and see what I've got from it - the one link that gave up something new to me. Posted by ginger a couple of months ago - good beat, backbeat clapping, gorgeous brass, and some ... Bulgarian chicks:

Anyone else?

Oh yeah, love The Cure, and that's one of their best - 9/10. Ain't as good as this, mind:

Das is gut. 7/10. The Cure have faded a bit with time - not as edgy as people thought they were.

Yes, it's Her - the scraggy Scots woman who's never been kissed. But singing a classic in 1999:

Admit it - if all you had to go on was the voice you'd think of giving her one. That would be an interesting blind date.

7/10

Used to live in West Lothian but I'd never heard of her obviously. It's all getting silly now.

Anyway...

One of my favourite songs.

Porcupine Tree - Trains

Warner are ******** so that's a live version.

"Not Freebird!" :D

That's pretty good. Never heard of them. 7/10. What happened half way through?

You want 17 minutes? Well, here's ... oh wait, it's another of their's, but just as good:

p.s. Scott Gibbs moves well for a brick **** house.

Free Bird 10/10

;)

Porcupine Tree are a very underrated and very brilliant Prog Rock band from England. They are easily one of my favourite bands of all time. Even if you aren't a fan of prog you can probably find something you like by them. That song there is just a standard pop rock song really but better than most people.

Sadly most their best songs have been removed.

Here's a pretty good one from their latest album.

Fear of a Blank Planet

Oh and the middle? He stops for a little crowd interaction before bursting into the bridge and then the return of the chorus. The bridge isn't as obvious as on the album.

Eeeentersting. Not mad about the music, not sure about the theme. Got the idea it was about anti-state, anti-commerce, instead of anti-family. Touch of Prodigy. 7/10.

Santana - does her hair get in the way of your enjoyment of her guitar skills, or it is her ***s and the mild orgasm she experiences?

6/10.

It was good but bored me. Well, the guitar playing did...

Now something from one of my favourite bands; British Sea Power.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w2n-7K0Ef6Y[/b]

I'd been meaning to listen to them for ages so it was a nice push.

I enjoyed but I'm sure they have someother better stuff too. Thought there was something magical going to come afer the destortiion bit in the middle but no luck :(

6.83/10

Bit of a classic coming your way... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tZ9dgCo8hfA

Steven Wilson talks about that song a lot actually. Basically he fears "a blank planet" of young people who don't go outside to socialise or whatever because they don't need to etc. "Xbox is a God to me" are very weak lyrics by his standards but they do have a good point I suppose.

Anyway. I've interrupted the flow. So go on lads.
