6/10.

It was good but bored me. Well, the guitar playing did...

Now something from one of my favourite bands; British Sea Power.

I'd been meaning to listen to them for ages so it was a nice push.

I enjoyed but I'm sure they have someother better stuff too. Thought there was something magical going to come afer the destortiion bit in the middle but no luck :(

Don't get it. What's it got to do with Liszt?

Forgettable rock thingy. 5/10.

Liszt piece - I'm not in to this, but it is amazing - how wired does a brain have be to write it or perform it?

p.s. in memory of Ginger.

I completely am into it. Liszt was fabulous. 9/10

And thanks for the rep on Buckley. Gosh, if I only I ever had a voice like he did.

Anyway...next vid. Found this Northern Irish band yesterday. They are nothing groundbreaking but I enjoyed this song a lot.

Like the short string thing going on in the background - bit of an exorcist sound - but not my taste. 6/10.

Never listened to this on its own. Veeery cool ... if you ignore the look of the musicians. CAN NOT beat brass:

That's pretty cool, rap sounds so much better in a foreign language, almost sounds classy. 7/10 for something different.

RJD2, De L'alouette;

I really like this kind of music, anyone should look into DJ Shadow (especially Endtroducing...) if they like ambient/trip hop stuff.

Me likey. Thought it was about recovering from a hangover - when your brain has to take baby steps - but no real message. Still, it sounds good and weird. 8/10.

Patsy Kline - the headband was to soothe the pain from a car crash:

one of the best songs of hip-hop it's awesome play on some loud bass and sorted.[/b]
Pfff. Jeez. Christ. Shucks. Awagawaga. Wotevah.

Trying to kick start this thread.

We need to post music. Blues isn't jazz. And that's not music. Repetitive brain trauma. 0/10.

This:

is music.

6.5-10. Heard better, but definatly heard worse.

If Liam could've kept that voice, they would've been bigger then U2, even with the **** songs Noel has been writing on the albums after Be Here Now (except for Dig Out Your Soul - probably the best album to come out last year IMO).

Like the song, but not a great performance. So 7/10.

You can hear U2 in the first few chords as well! Difference between them is U2 let big producers in, so their style kept expanding - Oasis are same old same old.

Something strange from NZ:

Actually Liam's vocals were always my least favourite part of Oasis. I just think he sounds whiney most of the time.

Class song there and sounds well live.

8.5/10.

Next up some Math Rock. Please ignore how gay they look. I saw them supporting someone in Dublin once and I'd never heard of them and I face-palmed when they walked on and thought I was in for some dreadful emo crap. But got some off the funkiest Math Rock I'd heard in ages.

Introducing... Foals - French Open.

what was that music alike?

Never heard such a stupid one   [/b]

Em, It's math-rock. It's about complicayed rythems and sequences. A love-hate thing really. :).

But you're supposed to link to another song of your choice now mr Lekso. The continuity has already been damaged....link STAT!
