Cheetahs v Lions

Finally we get to see Shane running. Should have passed at the last moment but it was encouraging to finally see.

Shane perform better in defence? He only had to make one tackle against the Lions and their 14 completely flattened him. Will Greenwood was very quick to blame BOD for the Lions try, and while I'd like to subscribe to the notion that BOD is some kind of superior life form who doesn't make mistakes, Will was right. *Cue Greenwood jokes*[/b]

Don't really see why Shane Williams is still out there, he's not even close to being good enough for a lions shirt as proved in the first game.

Perhaps the fact he was voted the best player in the world, for right or wrong, last year might have something to do with it.

So good he's just been creamed by a hooker,

not too good to see him getting caught by the hooker though.

Better from O'Connell taking the points there.

Jesus Barnes you could have given some warnings as well, twat, always out to impress the IRB, pathetic.

Your first two posts have just been to bash one of the most entertaining players of a generation. He's done little wrong today at all and I fancy this could be the game where he finally states his case. Don't be so ignorant.

it's the inconsistency with Barnes that is so infuriating, prop made no effort to roll away there yet nothing from Barnes.

Entertaining he might well be in the parochial setting of Wales but as a player on the world stage he's not much more than a muppet

He should have just backed himself for the corner and if he gets put out, well thats that, don't kick it you spanner!

all irrelevant now as they turn over off the scrum, and du Preez just goes through Byrne as if he wasn't even there.

You are only making yourself sound more of a joker. A muppet? Didn't seem so when he scored some sensational tries against the Saffers last year as well as set the Six Nations alight.

You aren't doing yourself any favours here WUM. People aren't so stupid. If you want to post drivel like that then go to 606. :bravo:

Its getting all rather scrappy now from the Lions. Getting a bit worried how easily the Cheetahs are scoring.

Great penalty from Hook.

He's suddenly giving Jones and O'Gara a run for their money.

and you're living in the past, Williams has been shite this year and was lucky to tour, even today he's been fairly non-existent, 1 run but even struggling to get past 2 forwards and some weak tackling, hardly anything to write home about.

A poor year and he's suddenly a muppet? I'm not saying he's been immense but if this was BOD having a poor year we wouldn't be so critical.

I don't think he's anywhere near the test team at the moment but he's still world class and so to describe him as a muppet is a bit ridiculous.

good start for the Cheetahs after Halfpenny gets done for taking the man out in the air.

23-17 Lions
