D'Arcy straight into the 22 then, didn't think we'd see Worsley get the start ahead of Williams, that's the only surprise for me.[/b]

Nugget has a shoulder injury, hope it's not too serious.

From my source in SA its only for precaution that they aint playing Williams tomorrow.

Money-where-your-mouth-is time for Williams. If he doesnt perform tomorrow I think it's game over test wise. Hopefully he'll go nuts and score a hat-trick.

Good to see Earls back in, and Worsley getting a shout. Can't wait for the game now.

28-12 Lions.

9. Ellis
10. Hook
12. Fitzgerald
13. Earls

It is either going to go spectacularly well, or be a disaster. I don't know why, but I have a feeling it will go well, and that is the fastest NH backline I have seen for a long time.

So if Worsley has to come off, D'arcy to 7 anyone ;)

I think Shane will know that he needs a big performance to have any chance of test seleciton. The danger with that is that he plays for himself more than the team like he has to with the Ospreys a lot of the time thanks to their ridiculous coaching.

Not sure about the back row to be honest, and the 9-13 combination has a huge question mark over it. Will be interesting viewing.

Did Murray and Ford mince the Golden Lions front row when they came on last Wednesday?

Backline is mostly whippersnappers - could go horribly wrong. Ellis throws slow pass to Hook, who gives away intercept, Fitzgerald starts crying, Earls drops his pants, Williams runs around in circles, Halfpenny and Byrne have a punch up over who's got the best hair.

But the pack is two tons of granite.

At first I didn't like the look of the backrow but now I think we're going to have a match with plenty if huge hits. Ferris hopefully will bring his A game and we'll have some very nice competition for the 6 jersey.

I don't think Fitzgerald will be too happy at being picked in his least favourite position but that backline could reap havoc if they get fast ball. So I'm very much looking forward to tthis now.

Have the Cheetah's named a team yet?

How good is Brussouw? And what kind of a player is he? If he apparently should be SA's first choice openside he might give Worsley a tough time.

Should I feel bad that I don't recognize any of those players?[/b]

It's hard remembering all of those names, it would be easier to memorise the number of South African's at the games so far. ;)

So much for a rugby mad nation.

Agree. Never heard of any of em, except for that guy who rocked the world of poofball a few years ago, and the cricketer on the bench.

They must be shite or my encyclopedic knowledge of rugby isnt ........ eh...... very encyclopedic-ish.

Glad to see both Ford and Murray starting together.

I hope Blair gets on and gets the chance to make an impression. He didn't have a good first game but we all know there's a lot more he can offer. I hope he gets (and takes) the chance to show that.

Halfpenny and Byrne would NEVER have a punch up over who has the best hair

It's been firmly established that Byrne does, why else would Halfpenny hide his under a scrum cap? :p

It is a very youthful back line, but one with skiploads of potential, so things shoudl go well tbh. Though Ellis is just **** tbh.
