Cheetahs and Kings to join "Pro 14"

Franco Smith spent many seasons in Italy so he'll know what to expect. Rassie will go back to SA armed with a lot of info on all the teams. That should help the kings and cheetahs.

Franco Smith isn't coaching the Cheetahs at the moment though. He's with the Springboks as their backline coach. The current head coach for the Cheetahs is Rory Duncan...

Yip. Doesn't help the Cheetahs in the short to mid term though.

On the positive, Cheetahs have announced entry for their their first Pro14 game at home will be FREE. Very positive move IMO. If I remember it will be vs Zebre. Could get ugly for the visitors. Cheetahs have a way of falling to pieces on tour but if they are the better side they can really inflate a score at home like the 90+ they put on the Sunwolves in Bloem this year.
