Champions Cup - Pool 4, Round 2 (Bath, Glasgow, Montpellier, Toulouse)

I did say it would be a tight game......................good try for Bath all caused by ST allowing the ball to roll into touch direct from a kick off!!

oh boy...oh man I feel bad right now....PLEASE hold on Toulouse !!!!!!!!! DONT FUKK THIS UP BOYS !!! SOME BALLS, COME ON !!!

bravo les gars. Fk yeah. Two BIG away wins for French clubs today. Striking when and where it counted. Imanol, you da fkn man. Thank you Toulouse for reviving his career.

The refs said release and the Toulouse player didn't. How did he not give the penalty ?

Imanol, who has resurrected his career no doubts, was supreme in the line out but was just OK elsewhere and mainly did his job (missed a couple of tackles, chose a couple of wrong options and made his usual theatrical nonsense when scoring his try which was a walk in) but I though Bezy (especially), Dusatoir and Medard deserve the plaudits.

Noves really needs to get his recruitment into gear as he desperately needs at least 2 new props as Census and Steenkamp are just not up the the new rules and will be show up dreadfully more times this season even given they were against two good props today!

Bloody hell....wanted to watch the Montpellier match but it has Gilliingham (the repetitive encyclopedia) and that Scott Hastings (who is making his usual stupid noises) from the broom cupboard........so back to Northampton where at least we have the erudite and experienced Greenwood even if we have to put up with that Irish guy!!!!

Slightly aggreived at the decisions Owens made at the death, but all in all I'm fairly happy with that.

Ewels played well in his first senior start! Didn't put a foot wrong, all the more impressive considering he is a lock.

If Biggar could kick we might have a match here........................

Imanol moved around well and gave a couple of nice offloads too. He's really been on top form this year, I regret not having him for France so much...
And aahhh yes Montypellier...how sad. They're just shiit out of luck every fkng Euro Cup. Last year a heart breaker (or even two I think ??) at the hands of the Tigers, this year Trinh-Duc injured long term at the very start of the damn thing. Unbelievable bad luck, really. Really. They're just not nearly the same without Trinh-Duc, I feared this a lot for them...I guess that's what you get for being too dependent upon a single player, but then again a great, skilled talent will always take up lots of space naturally...
What a shame for Montypellier....they start the year off by almost surviving Racing with 14 men, then they go into the volcano and win there (!!!!), now this..

you wanna know...wanna know why Montypellier lost ?...huh ??? YOU WANNA KNOW ?!!! IT'S BECAUSE OF THIS !!!!!

And I know..I just *KNOW* @gaston le gaff is taking the picture...GODDAMN IT GASTONISTISCHE !!!!!!!

Still shaking head what a load of Bollo*** that was, of course taking nothing away from Glasgow, who came to do a job and did it well, mind you the ref did help a little but that was not the reason why we lost we lost because the commitment was not there, to a certain point i was lucky spent most of the match in the Glasgow changing room with the injured player was stretchered off, he ok and was walking about by the end of the game, which is excellent news. Lets hope next week we see something different against La Rochelle.!!!!!!!!!!!

I missed the Glasgow game due to work and so only got to see the short highlights on Sky. I was a little annoyed however at one of the panelists on the show (I can't remember his name) commenting that Glasgow didn't have any "game makers", a player who can create something out of nothing. Has he not seen Niko Matuwalu play, one of the most explosive and unpredictable players in Europe. Did he not see Mark Bennet's run from the left which took out four Montpellier players? Has he not seen some of the many lung bursting runs from which Glasgow backs have scored over the last however many months?
