Champions Cup 20/21 - Round of 16

Jouer. It's like watching France in their hayday. Lovely finish Earlsy.
That wasn't grounded IMO, lost control and no downward pressure. Should have been checked at least.

Toulouse probably feeling pretty hard done by.

Earls having great craic the last few games. Thought Kleyn had killed it with the pick and go but fair play to them finishing despite looking like they'd butchered it a few times.

If BO'D ever used the phrase old mucker again he should lose his passport.

The club-country thing is interesting, obviously anyone who actively supports club rugby is very much on the passionate end of the rugby fandom scale. As far as I can tell most club fans would take being European Champions over their country winning a non-slam 6N.
I'd probably take a prem final win for Sale over anything other than a RWC win for England tbh

Well ****, looked liked he was holding his ribs on the edge of the screen?

Edit: when does that count as leading with the forearm?

Kevin O'Byrne if the most South African looking rugby player on the planet.

Hands all over floor on that turnover, Barnes not having a good one here. French will be going mad.

Munster should consider themselves fairly lucky thus far, think they have got away with a bit.

Good half from us. Tonnes of mistakes but we are playing so so so much better than last week and plenty of endeavor and desire to stretch the play. Clearouts need to improve a bit. We have outplayed them for good parts of that half and held them at vital stages. Would definitely worry how we go without Beirne he was unplayable there. Damo and Earls have both been really good. Murray a very mixed bag.

Interesting to see how the second half goes if Toulouse put some pressure on Munster will really struggle to keep players on the pitch , they seem to be cynical as **** every time they are under pressure from line breaks.

Well not bad considering the heat but 7points is a dangerous lead. Earls is on some form and DDA is running the midfield. Barnes very finicky and missing a few Toulouse errors but skillset has let both sides down at times

Would disagree watch in flesh and Toulouse getting away with alot but our defence is what qe pride ourselves on so will be interesting to see

I think Tolouse got away with plenty as well. Phase where Beirne was injured was the same forearm fend that got carded yesterday. I will say Murray is so lucky to stay on the pitch for killing the ball from Ntamacks break. I wish he hadn't because O'Donoghue probably could have won a penalty if Murray didn't cynically dive in.

I'll raise u early yellow then CM sealing off v lucky to stay on also completely idiotic as there was no support player the turn over would have been Munsters had he have moved properly, CJ standers turn over was not anywhere near legal.

my original point was more just how prepared Munster were to be cynical is situations which almost certainly will result in a yellow, two clear cut examples.
