Champions Cup 20/21 - Round of 16

Would disagree watch in flesh and Toulouse getting away with alot but our defence is what qe pride ourselves on so will be interesting to see
Are you watching at the ground?

My 2p is that Munster had rub of green from officials by a noticeable margin. That wasn't a forearm to head and the LI one wasn't either, yesterday officials got that wrong.

Doesn't have to be with the head you can't fend with the forearm. I will be biased for the other stuff obviously.

I do think Tolouse will respond here. Very unlikely we hold them tryless.

I'll raise u early yellow then CM sealing off v lucky to stay on also completely idiotic as there was no support player the turn over would have been Munsters had he have moved properly, CJ standers turn over was not anywhere near legal.

my original point was more just how prepared Munster were to be cynical is situations which almost certainly will result in a yellow, two clear cut examples.
I never said Munster were all clear. Conor would have got yellow but well refs always ease on it for every team when there yellow already. Toulouse could have had 1 or 2 also. For Earls 2nd try there could easily have been a yellow as they tried be cynical. More point is Toulouse are just as bad and really pushing offside line

Yes I here.

On officiald I'd say Toulouse getting away with alot more. In current climate forearm is dangerous. Not saying I agree fully but just in comparison to other reds. Also no offside line for Toulouse and they off feet at times too

At least three rucks sealed off there. Carbery getting targeted and rightly so he's playing way too soft

Both sides been doing this all game. Just as I'm typing that Munster do it in ruck before kick from base.

Think impartiality is out on this thread from some quarters!

My thoughts exactly

Plenty of sealing off and off feat in that passage from Munster.

Good lad Coombes. No answer for the big man.

Can't afford to fluff exits. They'll score with territory.

Pretty ironic you calling us cynical when they killed the ball several times there
I only noticed the once which was what resulted in the pen, I mean surely killing the ball by definition ends the passage and requires some flavour of restart? It's more how obvious the Munster ones were to get a feel for that u only have to hear the commentators mentioning CM lucky to stay on heard no such mention of Toul that's from Irish commentators as well, defiantly think you bias is in full swing buddy.

Think he's a bit lucky there, he has no control over how Kolbe will land and it was intentional, should have been yellow.

If we're hoping for Carbery to become the Ireland 10 we will need to change the defensive system massively.
