Champions Cup 20/21 - Round of 16

Game we should have and could have won if we'd managed it better in the last quarter. Most guys had great games and then a few seriously let us down. Tolouse a very good side to their credit. One if the better sides in it, although I'm not sure they'll get past Leinster if they go head to head.

We were a lot better with the ball today, than weeks gone by, but I have to question some of our defensive nous.

I think the big plus is Gavin Coombes is going to be a star.

I suppose it is evident now a change of tactic and application is needed. To be fair I though Conor Murray did well and the heat did play a part. The 6Nations has qorked against the Irish lads as the schedule is crazy. But take nothing away Toulouse deserved their win. Leinster have got lucky in that they got a rest this weekend

Close game, not a lot in that and could have gone either way.

Missing POM?

Think we missed him at lineout but O'Donoghue did great today. He also got a steal for us in the LO so not awful there either.

As was said we missed him at lineout but look Jacko didn't let us down. We just met a better team.
Like they made good calls at good times. Tekori is a powerful man and he came in at right time to inject power for them.

Having seen the Tadgh review that was definitely a red card offence. Was way worst than Finn Russell last week. No excuse though as Earls could have seen red too.

Oof of his knee had bent slightly differently that could have been horrific.

Chiefs really don't seem to have any clue how to defend against the Lyon attack.

Lyon are barely legal in the majority of breakdowns. Lying on the wrong side, hands all over the ball, off feet, taking out players outside the ruck.

That should be a penalty try, that was clearly going over if it wasn't collapsed. Never mind, try scored anyway.

Quite amazed hair-pulling isn't a card.

There seems to be a plan to attract a major sponsor to the 'Sin Bin Sponsored by [whoever]', so surely hair-pullers have to go?

Anyone reckon Lyon have blown their load and Exe will just be in Cruz control for the second half.
