British & Irish Lions vs Emirates Lions

I was surprised he toured tbh, or at least flew out with the rest of the squad
All that travel when your brains are soup can't be good for you

Aren't all Cornish rugby players heads like soup anyhow? I assume that caused the strange mullet like hairstyles.

I assume the issue with him flying out a few days later is that he would have had to get a scheduled flight(s) and mix with a load of other random passengers. He would then have to quarantine after arriving in SA or risk infecting the rest of the squad if he caught something en route. The BA flight from Edinburgh to Jo-burg was essentially a chartered flight/secure bubble for the Lions players, coaches and staff.

I was also surprised he made it TBH but I'm probably more surprised he made it into today's match day 23. Surely better to save him for Weds or next Sat if he passed RTP protocols.

The simple answer is that concussion is far more complicated than that; ad that he (presumably*) passed all his concussion tests at each 24 hour period - which can mean passed fit to play in 6 days time.

Concussed =/= Unconscious.
Unconscious =/= Concussed.

*Worth noting that Gatland has probably the very worst record on this in rugby since current protocols were introduced.

I'm smashed already, can't wait for lions on lions. I feel Hill will play really well today which will cause a right stir!

lions! Lions! Lions!
Richard is more likely to make an impact on this tour than Jonny.

But equally James Ryan showed why he's not touring earlier. Was actually pathetic.

I don't rate Hill too highly but I have a feeling he might shine. Maybe due to those around him but he might?

I'd be surprised - I think he's like Simmonds in that he works well as part of that Chiefs unit, but not so well outside of the environment
Plus his rugby IQ (in terms of giving away penalties) rivals Haskell's

But did you see his kick he did that one time!

Pre match predicition
B&I Lions to win 64-16

Edit: Never mind SA Lions have a former Scotland U20 player in it

B&I lions by 100

Good north western core running through the side with Watson Farrell and Harris
