Holy Crap - was certain Whyte was a gonner, but now I'm not so sure.

AJ looks like a boxer but Whyte is just brawling. Goes flying in and hopes something connects, but he's so big that if he does AJ is struggling.

These shots are just making Whyte angrier, not slowing him down.

Genuinely can't remember the last time I enjoyed boxing as much as this.

"A punch on the bell has upset Dillian Whyte"

To be fair it is a sensitive area

Brutal.

Not a boxing aficionado by any means... but that's exactly what people were saying Joshua needed, isn't it?

Could be the making of him?

Yep he certainly neede that fight.

Something different made he work a lot harder.

Anyone watched the Eubank fight?

That was a good fight, just what Joshua needed. I really hope his promoter doesn't get too ambitious for next year. Small steps and he will be world champion in time.

Watched Eubank, that Irish guy was tough. Eubank fought very well though, deserved win.

Eubank Jnr is looking good. He's as quick as his father to adapt to other boxers styles. As soon as he saw the guy keep coming in with head down, he started piling in the uppercuts.
So glad Joshua showed he can take a few shots, and Whyte has one hell of a chin, but nobody could keep taking those punches.

Yep he is a while of fighting someone like Haye.

Interesting on Eubank. Have some great young British boxers coming up.

Lack of class shown by both fighters at the end but great win for AJ but a better one for Eubank.

That was a great win for Joshua for sure, and he will learn more from this fight than his other 14 fights combined.
He showed a lot of guts in this fight and his power is frightening even on an empty gas tank.
I've seen a lot of comments on NZ pages talking about AJ's gas tank and these muppets just have no idea lol

Joshua is just developing in the pro game, he had never been past 3 rounds so of course it was going to be difficult for him. The guy was throwing bombs for 7 straight rounds, his gas tank is just fine. He will now know a bit more about his body and will be able to pace himself a bit better.

He's got other issues he needs to sort out before he fights with the more experienced elite fighters of the division. I still believe he is 18months-2 years off a real crack at a ***le.

AJ needs a better game plan and to use his size, speed and power better. He could have made that fight 10x easier if he just boxed Whyte, instead he just slugged it out and although he won fairly easily he still gave Whyte a sniff in round 2. Whyte is not on AJ's skill level its now obvious but he still has/had a great chin and dynamite in his hands.

Whyte is even tougher than I thought he was but the brain isn't meant to get hit like that, I hope he's alright. I wonder if he can comeback from a beating like that, I hope so because I still see some good potential in him. He might need to build himself up again now, hope he doesn't fight any big punchers anytime soon. 1 loss doesn't have to be the end of him, especially to a guy like AJ.

His father is one of my all time favourites, just so tough and an exciting style. Eubank jr is one of my current fav's, very similar style, except quicker hands and quicker feet, probably doesn't have the same one punch power and doesn't react as well to getting hit. I think he will be a world champ in the near future and think he beats Billy Joe Saunders in a rematch convincingly.

One criticism of AJ is his lack of footwork, head movement, makes him an easier target to be hit. He sure has the knockout power, but watching Fury fight Klitschko, it's noticeable how Fury's head movement, footwork and use of the ring is better than AJ's is currently. To be expected as Fury is more experienced at this level. Can also see why Klitschko struggled v Fury, as Fury's long reach kept him at distance and then as soon as Klitscho tried to get close, Fury tied him up or counter punched. What Fury lacks is AJ's knockout power. Will be interesting fight, when they eventually meet.

I definitely agree with this, It can be quite hard to develop I reckon. Some people are just naturally good movers. He can definitely improve though but he will never have Fury's movement just like Fury will never have AJ's power.

Well I won my fight back in November. Unanimous decision. Nerves had the better of me for the first round, Round 2 and 3 are by far my favourite rounds.
If you watch the video please excuse my girlfriends cheering. Also the camera angle gets fixed as the first round starts.
