Boks skrewed the Bulls

Okay,

So I have finally managed to watch the game between the Bulls and the Kings.

To my surprize, I see we won!! I thought we would be so screwed by the Bokke, that we would lose or draw. But no, we won!! by a quite convincing margin as well!!

What was even more astonishing to me, was the injured Hougie, playing as if he didn't have an injury... having a great game at scrummie. and then, in the second half, he moved to wing, and our third ranked scrumhalf, played also fantastically well!! Wow!! But wait, there's more. Dewald Potgieter at no. 8. Who would've thought that he could play so well there??? (I did). and then Johnno Ross came on, making his Super Rugby Debut, and he looked like a steam train not willing to stop.

Amazing!

I guess, some people worry too much, and say dumb things and wrong times...

I'd love to see your evidence, OP. Maybe send it in to Veldfokus if you have it on camera and I'm sure you'll be a winner.

It actually is a sign of bias, as you only mention the Bulls being screwed. If your topic was something like "Boks screwed Super Rugby teams", then it wouldn't have been biaseness. Then mentioning a player like PSDT who also got injured, in the process. The bulls got more injuries because we had more players in the Bok camp than the other teams.

No, me failing to report the other were due to the amount of injuries, not the team they are from.

You are funny. Stupid, but funny. You were a bit stupid to think we would lose against the kings, but hey, we are all here to learn.

I, on the other hand, never thought we would lose against the kings, and even the sharks and stormers will most likely get beaten, but I don't think we can beat the chief at Waikito if we aren't full strength.

Hougi had a great game, but it in no way proves my concern wrong. Case in point, FdP's ankle.
Dewald was average at best at 8, not great, but given that he is out of position, he did well. He should be better this week.

Found this after 5min of using my google foo.

Haha!!

from now on, I'll insert my sarcasm text icon before writing... some people just don't get it.

When Rugby players do pre-season training, they usually workout in a gym. Their bodies go into an anabolic phase, where they build muscle. Then when the season start, and they play matches where they get bumps and bruises, and run a lot, their body goes into a catabolic phase, where muscle breaks down and the body becomes more vulnerable. There is no real secret to this and is general knowledge. Injuries will always be part of the game, and with the more matches during a season, the more injuries will happen.

Why do you think did Richie Mccaw go on a sabbatical?

to give his body proper rest, so that he can prolong his career...

This discussion is bordering on the pathetic
