Beer

Castle Lager is the best all round beer in SA. I used to drink Black Label but the bitterness got overboard for me. Some days I just couldn't drink it. I drank Miller mostly last year, it's a good beer but sometimes tastes a bit watered down. I daddled a bit with cedars but after 4 dumpies it gets a bit fruity on the back of the throat.

I'm open to trying all different brands of beer but always return to Castle Lager.

Currently necking a bottle of 'Black Gold' from the Copper Dragon brewery of Skipton :D

BEEZ NEEZ.

Had a schooner of it the other day...smelt like honey when it came towards my mouth, and the aftertaste was honey as well (not overly sweet, just enough to know it definitely was honey).

Beautiful beer.

I have had several pints of Hidden Quest, from the Hidden Brewery Company... I love being able to walk down my Village Pub to have a pint or 3 on a Sunday Afternoon...

YES! Beez Neez is fecking bliss! What a discovery, one of my all time favourites.

Nastro Azzuro is another beauty, a pale ale from Italy. Very nice indeed.

On a downer, Tasman Bitter is the most vile filth out there. You know you're desperate when you've got a keg full of Tassie sitting in the flat... ewww, gross stuff that is.

quite the fan of all ales, dark and pale, personal favorite being monteiths black atm. however during the summer months, a amstel is good. however, if its not summer largers are not acceptable!

Had a carton of carlton cold if you want to get ****** in a short space of time its goes down like nothing. :) Also had a few hammer and tongs (i didnt buy it) its okay for $25 a carton and you want to get smashed.

Also had a Coopers Vintage Ale my.f**king.god.its.good as stewie says "there is an orgy going on in my mouth!" if you find it GET IT.

I don't really drink much but when I do I usually drink a lot. I rather have some strong spirits instead of beer. Once I'm tipsy though everything tastes the same.

For me you cant beat a good pint of Brains SA. Even though they sponser the Welsh rugby team I can easily forgive those guys cause they have given me the most delicious, soothing, creamy, nutty, rich and fine pale ale that I am ever likely to get my goddamn lips on. go for it lads get some "scull attack"down yer necks tonight! :D :bana: :D :bana: :D :bana: :D :bana: :D :bana: :D :bana: :D :bana: :D

Top work mate...that stuff is absolutely gorgeous. Those Copper Dragon chaps do some good, good work

At the moment i'm off the beer for Lent....but come Easter that would be fairly high up on my list.

I didn't know people actually fasted for Lent.
We did a small study on mexican beers in Germany, and it turns out that while Corona isn't bad (a bit tasteless, but then the lime adds thet little bit of zing), Desperado is better.
Although I'm not sure, Tequila flavoured beer, and I don't think it mentioned Tequila among the ingredients. Plus, does Tequila have a taste?

Both 'mexican beers' were brewed in Europe, I personally find that hilarious xD
