Beer

Don't know what you guys call it.

Could be something else, to be honest I was just guessing, what is the pale thing called?

To summarize last night, also drank a few glasses of Cava, bit too sweet but still, ordered glenfiddich forgot how many years it was, but it was very good, then again, don't know anything about whisky, and ended up finishing Glen's Beer. So all in all, it was a very sober night.

Just had a couple of Cornish Knockers... Real nice that was ;)

Also was drinking Green King IPA...

Ummm was drinking Buttcombe Bitter last saturday, we finished a barrel between us...

I try to steer clear of anything by Greene King these days, they bought up and asset stripped my local brewer (Ridleys of Essex), closing down one of the few brewers who still make their beer barrels the traditional way.

Recently though I have been drinking Sharp's Doombar, Shepard Neame Spitfire & Whitstable Bay and Wood Brewery Shropshire Lad.

Doombar is a nice beer... Cornish ales are at the top of their game at the moment I feel...

Totally, Tribute by St Austell Brewery is another gorgeous example of Kernkow Kraft.

Ahhh Tribute is the muck they chuck out to the Londonites... if you want real Cornish ale, try St Austell Tinners...

Also Sharps Cornish Coaster is another nice ale... And also Skinner's Cornish Knocker...

Nah St. Austell's best is the Exmoor - cracking pint. Drinking Bath Wild Hare organic as we speak (or type) and I'm reasonably impressed. Also nice is Brakespears organic, while we're on the god for the environment theme.

Had a M&B Brew 11 earlier and nearly returned it as off - terrible pint. I wouldn't recommend it to my enemies.

Cornish beer tastes good but they don't serve it well. Flat and warm and often with bits floating in it.

Thomas Hardy's - A special that was in Wetherspoons in the last Winter ale festival. 11.7% or something like that and the greatest thing I've tasted.

The bits will just be the sediment - nothing wrong with that.

I know that but I'm used to clear pints.

Foster is the best! :)
Also, I remember there was an Australian beer 15 years ago, called XXXX... I don't know if it still exists... it was a good beer...

You, my friend, obviously have a whole world of beers to experience.

Man i dont really drink aye although sometimes my cousins force me to drink. I like Bourbon & Cola the most the brand doesn't really matter. Its hard for me to get drunk too. The first time i drank i had 7 cans and two cups of straight bourbon. I drank them fast and it had no effect on me so im like whats the point?

Ask someone else, they might have a better judgment of the effect it had on you xD

Drank beer and wine with sprite yesterday (didn't mix beer and wine, no worries), childish but yum.

Most disgusting mix i ever heard of involving wine was red wine and cola.

due to unfortunate age laws its pretty much a matter of acceptance but when possible i look for miller or corona extra

Tesco is stocking Orval & Chimay....proper Trappist ales (the likes of Leffe and Duval aren't actually allowed to call themselves that). Really good and rich and complex beer. Loving them.

I love qualimoxto, but it has to be cheap red wine and non-brand cola, ah that takes me back.
